American Girl Today Accessories
Black beret, Notebook necklace, Lunch box purse, Library card, Lunch tickets, 3 pretend dollars, Mini American Girl magazine, 10 stick-on Mini Grin Pins
Beret: Adorable and very late-90s especially with the plaid bow. The fabric is a soft fleece and the plaid ribbon is threaded around the brim which is a cute detail. Best of all, unlike some other AG berets, it's kind-of stretchy and actually fits the doll's head!! Grade: A
Purse: Cute and I remember these being in too. It has some weight to it as it is real metal which is nice. The clasp actually works and has not broken since I had it (98). It is lined with a soft fabric. I like that it is silver and doesn't have a lot of detailing, so it matches more outfits. It's pretty roomy for a doll purse. Grade: A
Library card/Lunch tickets/Cash/Magazine/Mini Grin Pins: standard issue. The lunch tickets were a cute addition though. Grade: A
Necklace: This is my favorite part of the set. The necklace actually opens and you can write in the pages. I remember these being in at the time and it is just the same as girl-sized ones. I like that there is an elastic keeping the book closed; that is easily something they could've overlooked but it would not look as polished for your doll to have an open book dangling from her neck, lol. The covers are even metal. Grade: A+
Overall Grade: A

I love this set! I've had it a good 10-12 years, and everything is still in great shape. The hat is super cute. So soft, and as KitandKat mentioned, it actually fits well on the doll's head. The purse is so sturdy and you can hold a lot in it. Way back when, I used to keep all of Addy's jewelry and hair accessories in it. Plus, this is my favorite mini mag. Great set. Definitely an A!
