Original glass-eyed mini-Molly There she is, my dearest Mini Molly! If you like Molly but you don't want to commit to the real deal, this Mini doll is a fantastic replication. They even got her tiny little sweater right! Just a few things to watch out for: -Her shoes won't stay on very well. -Glasses? Easy to lose? Check. I wish I had a pair of miniature doll glasses for her. -Her little braids curl! I think it's adorable, but the real Molly doesn't have this, so I could see where some people get perturbed.

Her clothes are WAY adorable, right down to the teeny-tiny little socks!! YAY!
My big problem is...My mini-Molly's bangs will not flatten. They are poofy and crazy looking! I taped them down... lay her on her face for a few days.... I have tried everything i can think of but her crazy bangs just poof back up.
Finally, i got fed up with her and gave her to my boyfriends little sister. She really wants a full-sized molly and loves her despite her crazy bangs.

I just got mine today, so mine is Mattel.
The doll surprised me with the fact that she had a soft cloth body.
The outfit is a good replica of Molly's Meet Outfit. I thought the dickey in the original was longer, but this one works well too. Bloomers are very cute. Socks are scrunched down.
Bangs are poofy- but also easy to sweep to the side, although not as easy as with Mini Samantha. Braids are very well done.
I'm happy they included the glasses. This is one of the reasons why Molly looks so much like Inga. But had you all not reminded me of them, I would have overlooked them. They do not have lenses.
Book is adorable and has the newest cover- as compared to Samantha's. I bought both Mini dolls today.
Overall an A. I bought Mini Molly as a present for Inga. In my stories, Inga received Molly as a present for being flower girl at her aunt Anjelika's wedding. That's where she and Lise met too.

Molly is probably the least favorite of my 5 mini dolls (the others are Mattel Felicity, Elizabeth, Samantha, and Nellie). Her sweater was made way too big and so she looks chunky in it. Her bangs will NOT flatten and her glasses fall off very easily. Her shoes and socks are cute, though. Overall, she's a very adorable doll, except for her sweater and bangs.

To remedy the glasses falling of, take a clear plastic rubberband, like they say to use for doll hair, put it under Molly's little braids. Stretch it over her head, just in front of her ears, so it is snug around her face, , behind her bangs, thus holding her glasses in place. They haven't fallen off since I tried this after losing them.

Molly Mini Doll Item# 47487 $22 (price increase to $24 January, 2012)
This 6 1/2 inch doll brings Molly’s® world to life on a smaller scale. She arrives dressed in an outfit reminiscent of the World War Two era. Plus, she comes with Meet Molly, a miniature version of the book that tells Molly’s story of growing up on the home front in 1944.I absolutely love all the mini-dolls! Mini Molly is an entire Molly doll in miniature! She has tiny undies, socks and her sweater and skirt can be removed. Her white 'collar' is attached to her mini sweater unlike her 18" counter-part. Her glasses are plastic and one piece. They are very easy to lose. Still, mini-Molly is great. She comes with a mini hardback book that contains two chapters (Chapters 1 and 4) of Meet Molly. Fun stuff. Grade A.

Mini Molly is so adorable. So like the ful sized girl. Her glasses are easy to lose, but we've been pretty careful to hang on to them. For a child, I can't see them staying long though, lol. For that fact, A-. On the other hand, Wendy loves her Molly dolly.

My mom bought me my Mini Molly not long after the mini dolls first came out. I was never overly impressed with her. The mini dolls just don't do it for me. Not sure why.... Molly's glasses are a problem. They do not stay on AT ALL! I have no idea how I managed not to lose them. I've never had problems with her shoes falling off as others have said. But then again I've never even taken them off. Her sweater doesn't look quite right. And her curly braids bug me. She's NOT Kirsten! I'm glad I have her, but I doubt I'll be buying anymore mini dolls. B- SailorMolly
