*This outfit was worn by Molly in the book Brave Emily*
The fabric is silky and sheer, the skirt pleats are cute, the color is a nice change from red, white and blue. The shoes look plasticy and I don't know if they fit over socks. The hair ribbon looks nice and silky.
This dress didn't really do anything for me. Grade:B

I love this outfit! I really think that it shows excellent craftsmanship and the shoes are just adaorable. I love the way the outfit really depicts the time period as well as the peach color. Spot on! My daughter loves this too! We give it an A+!!!
I never liked or even wanted this outfit when it first came out - but I think that was because the catalog pics just never did it justice. I was fortunate enough to get this from the outlet (thanks Tricia) - and it is truly LOVELY and has become one of my favourite items! Rating A.
Rating A. The shoes are a tight fit (parents may have to help their kids). Also, the color definitely looks hideous on some of my dolls (Nellie in particular looked vile), but it's cute on Molly. A bit of a tight fit on some of my older dolls.

I really love everything about this outfit, except if Molly wears it with her underwear - somone once said that it makes Molly look like a ham - and it does. So, our Molly wears her birthday suit under it, then the skirt doesn't lay funky. Otherwise, this is an exceptionally well made dress!
The shoes are adorable and very well made.
Overall, I give this outfit a B+! Only because it gets drafty under that dress.
