These were introduced to Molly's collection in Spring 2006 and retired in 2008. They replaced an earlier version of red roller skates that were sold as part of Molly's Party Games.Factories stopped making metal toys during World War Two, so Molly updates her old pair of roller skates with new turquoise straps to match her outfit. Buckle the vinyl straps over her shoes and get ready to roll! Includes trading cards. These are only $10 and worth that price. The blue straps are very thin vinyl and you have to be really careful with the buckle so as not to tear the holes in the strap. The base is thick brown plastic, almost like thick leather. The axles are metal but the wheels themselves are a durable silvery plastic. Pretty sturdy though. They roll really well. Grade B Traveling Nora using Molly's skates to play street hockey.

These are pretty well made, but I wish the wheels weren't plastic. I guess they would be quite heavy if they were made of metal ,though, so I think I can forgive that. I also don't like the really thin vinyl the straps are made out of, but it doesn't bug me that much. Overall, I really like these. They are mostly historically accurate, and a nice acessory to add to Molly's collection. Grade:B

These are really cute. My only gripe is, like others have mentioned, the thin straps. My Molly is a little clumsy and has a bit of trouble standing in them at times, but they usually don't effect her balance. A- to B+, depending upon how much the straps bug.

These are cute for Molly, and I do like them, but I wish they were made with the metal clamp for the toe and a "skate key" to tighten the clamp, which gripped the sole of the shoe. That is what I remember.
