I have to say I really liked the set when it came out. I am in no way a bitty baby collector but from looking at it knew it would be soooooo adorable on an 18" doll. I waited to but it until the outfit went on clearance but I just adored it once Kailey was wearing it! The tights are cut the same size as you would have for the 18 " dolls. THe shoes are a red velvet with a velcro closure. The skirt is a brown taffeta with a pleated underlayment of red. The knit top is cute with it's taffeta covered buttons and cheeta fur trim on the sleeves and collar. We also opted to take the cheetah swing coat and red knit cap with cheetah fur trim.
It is all adorable and fits an 18 " doll wonderfully.
I broke down and purchased this set when I saw this pic on HB. It is adorable. Not to mention that I am greedy and now have all of the Bittys that AG offers except the brunette(who isn't far behind), and will need holiday outfits for all of them.
I wanted to add my photo to this thread. This is not an outfit I could ever see putting on a real baby, and that tends to be my guide when deciding what Bitty ensembles to purchase. However, my daughter had a love for animal prints at the time, so this one ended up at our house when it went on deep sale. It is extremely well made and the fabrics are lush and definitely have a chocolate cover-cherry vibe. I still don't know how they ended up pairing the cheetah look with all that, and generally speaking I don't think this was one of the more popular holiday offerings for Bitty (hence the surplus and deep mark-downs). Quality is A level, but because concept is off I'd rate it a B+ overall.
