This is the original Bitty Twin girl with the shorter brunette hair. Isn't she precious? She shares the soft body of the bitty twins. Her hair is long enough to sweep to the side in front (otherwise it hangs in her eyes) and there's a little "top knot" that is pretty permanently separate from the rest of her hair. I find the hair length a little annoying--in-between and somewhat hard to deal with. Some of the outfits for the girl that came out before the new style twins came with a cute hair tie for this little stitch of hair. Her face is sweet, with rosy cheeks and cherubic pouty lips. While I think the longer haired twins have more playability with the hair, in person this twin captivated me with her more baby-like look. I give her an A.
This is my daughter's special baby. Despite all that loving, the doll is still in amazing condition. I personally prefer the shorter-hair girl dolls, since my own daughter was hair-challenged until she got older, LOL. I also think the shorter hair can be more managable for kiddos to care for (even with the little topknot cowlick thing going on!). Still, they don't get much cuter than this 2004-era girl!
