When I first saw the long haired BTs in person, I didn't care for them. First impressions, however, can be wrong. This little girl is adorable. DD and I love her. DD is thrilled to be able to brush her hair and while the wig is a bit on the thinner side for a collector, it is ideal for a young child just learning to care for a doll with hair. I know some people feel the hair is a bit too long for a toddler, but for a little girl the length is great. DD brushes her hair (and brushes and brushes) and is enjoying the styling options. Personally, I prefer her with her hair down or in braids, but DD likes the ponytails. I do think the BB legs are a little silly on a doll that goes to preschool (and as she has school clothes, I assume she goes to preschool). I'd like to see AG pay for a straighter leg mold but that's a small point. I love that she has the same body as BB as that greatly expands the wardrobe options. Personally, I don't care for the meet outfit. The ruffles on the denim jumper are a bit much for me. I prefer the cleaner line and more classic look of the BB 2-in-1 Travel jumper. As a collector, I'd like to see the wig a bit fuller and I'd like to see the leg mold changed to better reflect the updated age of the revised BTs-- aside from those points the doll is great. I give her a B+ (Sorry, these aren't great photos) Here's a picture of her with her hair down (in the BB Let it Snow PJs): A back view with hair down: And just 'cause I think she's extra cute in it, here's DD's Maggie in her sleep hat:

I got my Bitty Twins during the summer of 2006, right after they came out! I love the longer hair, which is one thing that really appealed to me. I love their outfits and about everything about them. The only thing I don't like is that they can't really stand on their own - they have to lean against something. Picture comparing the BT height to the 18" girls:

I have the blond and brunette girls named Annika and Ava. They are cute and I adore their meet outfits. Their hair is very clean and looks best in pitail . When you first take their pigtails out, it is very hard to brush it to make it look nice. I am also not crazy about the bangs but they are okay. Ava (blond) has beautiful blond eyelashes when Annika (brunette) has the regular ones. Overal they are sweet. I give them a B.

I love this girl to pieces. Her name is Rosalind but I call her Rosie. Her hair comes in pig tails so at first it is hard to get it to lie straight down her back, but a wire wig brush definitely helps. Her hair can even be pulled back in to one ponytail. I don't think her hair is too long at all. My younger sister is two and a half, and her hair is down to her waist. (we've never cut it). Rosalind's face is sweet and innocent, with rosy cheeks. The facepaint is very good on her, the colors look natural and stunning at the same time. Her body is cuddly, and she's just a sweetie. Also this is my first experience with pie wedge bangs, and I found them manageable, although it's annoying that they are hard to keep out of ponies when you are doing her hair. One last thing is that I found it funny that 2G's hair is thicker and longer than my 4G's hair... GRADE: A+ Rosalind Maisey Louis

I was lucky to find my brunette bitty twin girl at a thrift store. Yulia is just so precious. Her little face demands attention and love, something my former blonde bitty twin boy, Caleb, did not do. I had no idea that her hair did have a bit of a layer until I saw the review picture. Though she was found nude, I give Yuli and her kind an A+.

I got the brunette twins for Christmas and named them Cory and Lea. Here's some photos of Lea (one of just her and one of her with Cory). She's a little cutie! Her hair is very easy to manage and I love it in pigtails!

I do love my Bitty Twins. They're wonderful. I have both the blonde and the brunette girls, and unfortunately I lumped them both into the same album on my Instagram page so both my reviews for these dolls will have the same pictures. I do think they're very sweet and if you can get them you should. I got them as soon as they were reintroducted in 2006. I think they're precious.
