bonny sweet lass o'mine loves this set and it's adorable! th' colors be bright, th' print be fun. bonny sweet lass o'mine loves both th' girl version for herself and th' lusty plastic lass version for her lusty plastic lass. th' lusty plastic lass nightie isn't as flannely as I thought it would be, but it be bonny fabric and not too thick for th' lusty plastic lass. th' girl version washes well and doesn't wrinkle easily. lusty plastic lass version has velcro up th' back and decorative buttons on th' front (Nay button holes). th' girl version has a few buttons that actually button in front. th' lusty plastic lass version comes wit' really bonny slippers. We didn't get th' girl version o' th' shoes-- to me they look bonnyr on a lusty plastic lass than a real girl.
th' book wit' this one be "th' poopy Twin's Bedtime Story." I found this to be rather an odd little book, so did DH. th' twins (brunette boy and girl in this book) be supposed to be going to bed. Together they make up a story about a queen and king who live on a rainbow. th' queen and king be frightened o' a giant they believe be getting close so they run away. In th' story, th' mom comes and brings th' kids a bedtime snack but it's an odd choice to let th' queen and king version o' th' twins run away from a fear rather than overcome th' fear (there be suggestion that th' giant be really th' mom and thus not a scary giant, but it's a little subtle for young kids). Also a bit odd that th' twins would be told to go to bed but a parent doesn't show up to tuck them in. I don't think we'll be reading this one much.
th' monkey jacket, on th' other hand, be a must have. I've seen some pictures o' it on 18" girls and it looks bonny on them, too. However, I'm bonny sure bonny sweet lass o'mine won't be sharing this one wit' any o' my lusty plastic lasses.
I give it an A $50 for girl & lusty plastic lass nightie set $24 for lusty plastic lass nightie (nightie, slippers, book) $30 for girl nightie $15 for girl slippers
I adore our daisy nighties for twins and girl. th' only complaint I have about them be that th' nighty be very structured through th' bodice wit' Nay "give" at all in th' fabric. My little girl has a really hard time getting her arms in but once in, it fits fine. If she's damp from th' bath FORGET IT, we just can't get it on at all. It be th' right size, just very close in form.
