These are beautiful, but seem to run way too large. My daughter wears a Size Small and she wears a pretty standard Size 8. The shirt could almost fit two of her, and the pants are falling off. Description: They are made of a lavender polyester satin, which is very washable, but we haven't worn them to bed yet, (because of the size), so we haven't washed them. You can see they have small buttons down the front, and a white satin trim with embroidered lavender flowers. The embroidery on the trim adds a very pretty touch Durability and Playability: I'm assuming they will be fairly durable, even through washings, but I'm concerned they may snag. We'll see. Value: At $39, they are a bit pricey, and with the alteration work I will have to do myself so she can wear them, I think $39 is too much. Letter Grade: I give them an A for their beauty, but a B- for their fit. My daughter is admittedly on the petite/thin side, but these are WAY too big! Overall, I will say a B.

My daughter has a pair of these pajamas and really likes them. The sizing seems pretty true to us - the patterns might have changed since 2007? She's a 10 and the medium (8/10) fits quite well. They are polyester but feel like satin to her. They're not very warm, but are great for fall and spring or under a bathrobe. I have washed them (with Woolite) multiple times and they haven't pill-ed at all yet.
I got these on sale just before they disappeared and it was quite worth the $25.
