My daughter loves this outfit. I love the colors (oranges and pinks) and the style(halter top and tye dye skirt). It washes well. My daughter had no problems wearing it for play at bounces are us (moonwalk jumpy things with slides). We got ours at the MCM sale for $15.00. Great deal for $15.00 but not for full regular price.

The halter runs short. Buy one in the next sizes when it's cheap. I put elastic around the skirt and it will last forever. DD has worn this for 2 years and it still looks new.

We love ours. My second of three daughters is not fitting into it; in a couple years it will pass on to my third daughter. At my house, if an outfit gets passed along from AG, the matching doll's outfit does NOT, but you have to let your sister borrow it as needed.

DD loves this outfit. I got it NWT for $25 and I'm now looking for the next size up since she loves it so much.

My Daughter absolutely loves this outfit!!! It's one of the cutest matching outfits for girls that American Girl has made. The colors are so vibrant. The outfit definitely runs a little small (the skirt is small in the waist and the halter top is a little short) - so I would purchase it at least one size up.

Jess's Meet Skirt is adorable. It actually has a hippie-ish vibe, or at least it does in my opinion. I normally wear a size 0 or 1 in pants, and I bought a 16 in this skirt. It took me YEARS to grow into, and even now it is still a bit big...the waist is up by my rib cage. The pleats at the top are nice, and fade gently out into the bottom of the skirt. The colors are vibrant and the stripes fade into each other, kind of like dripping tie-die. It is floaty and twirly, always my first choice on a sunny day. The only problem I have had is finsing a shirt to match it, but I settled for a white tank top. (It actually looks pretty good, I think it is because theres some white between the stripes) My overall rating would be a B+, because of the fact that this skirt is a little big. It could stand to have less fabric.

I love this outfit. It's very vibrant and fun - and I hate hate orange, so obviously they did something VERY right with this outfit.
The top runs a little short, but I made it work when I got it, but would suggest getting a size up. I outgrew mine before too long, which was a bit of a downer. Also, right above some of the embroidery it ripped (I'm assuming from the wash). There's a lining so it didn't totally ruin the shirt, but a rip in the middle of a top, even with another layer of fabric, is disappointing. A tank top works with the skirt but without the top it ain't Jess' outfit!
I love love love the skirt. It's so flowy and fun. It still fits me too (I was 12 when I got it the year Jess was out).
For shoes I don't like flip flops so I've always worn my suede light tan cowboy boots with it. I think bright colored converse (in the right colors) would look cute too.
I love it overall. A+ for the skirt, B+ for the top.
