Grade: A - The Good: I saw this and it reminded me instantly of a ski bunny outfit from an old 1940 or 70s film (Yes, I can't get my eras straight ). So of course I had to get it. The boots, I admit, were the pushover. They're adorable. The fluffy trim and write strappies are the perfect accents to a popular style. I also liked the psuedo-mongolian fur trimmed vest, and the furry headband. The white textured tights do seem heavy, and look cute under the boots - even if they aren't quite practical. The vest, boots, and tights are all really well made and practical. Something you may not know (I didn't) is that the long sleaved shirt is actually a leotard. Whether you like the shorts or not, the detailing on them is very cute. The bits and pieces of this outfit are great for mix and match with other outfits, I think. The Bad: Hm... First of all, the leotard shirt. Ok. Making it a leotard so it doesn't need to tuck in, I get that. The only problem is, the material is scratchy and thick, unlike what you would expect. The shorts in turn are tight enough that you can see the folds of the leotard underneath - ick. Also, I do question the idea of shorts ... wouldn't a little skirt have been cuter? Maybe if they were more of a formal look, like little pleat shorts, rather than weird velvet gym shorts. Oh well.

I got this outfit on an eBay doll I wanted. This is one of the very few GT/JLY outfits I've fallen for so I was willing to pay more for the doll to get the outfit, too. I love the outfit and I can't really express why. Maybe because it's so lightweight it reminds me of Arizona winters.
The one thing that surprised me was the strings on the headband. I worked hard to untie the know only to discover that the string on the headband is separate from the knotted ends! I tied the knotted ends back on and it slides around but that's actually fine with me since I like those things asymmetric.

Grade- B This is a pretty good outfit. It has mix-and-match pieces. The vest is some-what stiff, the shirt is made of thin t-shirt material, the shorts are really soft and fuzzy and the tights feel like tights. I really like the vest and shorts. The shirt is more like a uni-thing like Nicki's Meet Shirt. The collar around the shirt is slowly coming off it. The boots are adorable. The straps on them are a nice touch. The headband is really soft. Pictures: ^ on Kirsten ^ on Josefina

I just got this outfit on eBay, and I'm very surprised at the size of the bodysuit. It's huge! I expected it to fit pretty snugly, as most bodysuits do, but there's a couple extra inches of room in the torso and the arms are loose too. It looks fine with the shorts and vest on, so I don't mind, but I thought I'd add that here in case someone was thinking of using it as a dance or gymnastics leotard, because it definitely wouldn't work for that.
