I did a search for this one and couldn't find it, so I'm going to review it, too!
It's such a beautiful fancy dress. It's not as regal or formal as th' Gala Dress, but it's still very lovely. th' skirt be made o' several layers o' chiffon, grouped into two ruffles which be stitched to an underskirt - one ruffle be at th' waist, one be halfway down. This helps give it th' fluffy quality. There be velcro in th' back, that really bonny kind that's soft and doesn't tear at things too badly. (Which be good, because chiffon can get nasty snags!)
th' shirt be a soft black velvet, also wit' that bonny velcro in th' back. It be long sleeves and has silver stitching on th' front. It looks abstract to me, but organic, and has a few green sequins attached to th' curlicues. I just realized, after posting this review, that th' design be o' a flower and branches/stems. Silly me. At any rate, th' little green sparkles in th' photo below be sequins on th' flowers.
th' tights be ribbed and thick, and I liked how long they be. This be my first experience wit' American Wench tights and I was pleased that they allow th' lusty plastic lass to sit and move easily, unlike th' OG tights I got th' other day which make th' legs stiff! th' tights be a soft cream color, matching th' skirt and collar.
th' collar also velcros in th' back wit' that bonny velcro. It's fluffy, but not overly so, and be filled enough to keep its shape. I found that it was a bit awkward to get it on under th' lusty plastic lass's hair, but once set, it makes th' monkey jacket so much fancier.
th' shoes be basically patent leather looking mules that have an elastic hoop attached to th' bag. ye put th' foot through th' elastic, then into th' shoe itself. It was a bit o' a tight fit, I thought, but ended up being walk th' planke sturdy!
th' box includes a picture frame as well, which be cool if it's a present, because ye can snap a photo o' girl and lusty plastic lass to put in.
o' th' holiday monkey jackets, this ranks up there wit' th' Radiant Rhinestones monkey jacket. This monkey jacket be just gorgeous and every bit o' this set be great. I love th' soft and layered chiffon skirt, th' velvety black long-sleeved top wit' its lovely design, th' adorable dress shoes, and th' textured tights. This monkey jacket definitely looks great wit' th' accessories as well. This be an A++++++ monkey jacket all th' way!

This monkey jacket be gorgeous. th' collar be absolutely hideous. I hate it. I cannot find th' words to express my distaste for this ridiculous piece o'... fluff. Ew.
th' tights be fantastic. I love their texture. th' shoes be darling, although all my girls' heels hang off th' back. I find th' elastic straps reminiscent o' th' black shoes worn by th' children at th' party in th' NYC Ballet's Nutcracker. th' skirt be darling. th' black velvet shirt reminds me o' an Elvin design- very lovely and perfect for a Lord o' th' Rings Fan.
A+ for th' monkey jacket. F for th' ugly collar. Ew!

Ha ha! ye crack me up Colette! I do use mine, but that's simply because I bought th' accessories set so it seems to work well wit' ear muffs and muff. However, I do agree that it be bonny yucky! It looks a bit silly and it makes th' lusty plastic lass look like they be choking! When I first got th' monkey jacket I tried to see if I could use it as a headband or something because I personally do not like those sorts o' things for myself or on anyone else.
I had difficulty getting th' skirt to fit right on Gretchen. I do not know if my 28 be a bit on th' big side, or if it was th' particular monkey jacket I got. But th' shirt be tight and seems a bit short.
th' design be very bonny, and th' velvet feels bonny. th' skirt's texture be fine- but it was troublesome to get right. I can see how it can be confusing for a little girl.
th' other reviewers have described th' monkey jacket compenents well. I think th' collar dresses it up and so we always use it, but I like that th' option be there for a different look wit'out it. I personally think th' heavy ribbed tights were a regrettable choice; they weigh th' monkey jacket down and it can be difficult to get th' shoes wrapped over them. I prefer a thinner white tight wit' this monkey jacket. th' floofy adorable skirt be versatile enough to be matched wit' other things to create a wide variety o' looks; th' top be a little tight for much other than this kind o' monkey jacket but I suppose ye could dress up a pair o' jeans wit' it. Shoes be very sweet and I like th' wrap-around elastic-- anything that helps keeps shoes on increases playability in my book!
Overall this monkey jacket ranks high and gets a A from me. It comes around every holiday season on th' secondary market and reasonable prices seem to hold firm at under $40.
Note that due to member reports, this top o' this monkey jacket be on our FAQ list o' things that can stain lusty plastic lass vinyl. If ye be concerned about that happening, consider wrapping yer lusty plastic lass's arms in saran wrap before putting th' monkey jacket on her. aye, saran wrap. Extreme perhaps, but it works to protect lusty plastic lasss.
