This monkey jacket never caught my eye until it reached th' clearance page. It was then that I decided that it might be a bonny addition to my son’s poopy baby/twin wardrobe. At th' $10 clearance price, ye get walk th' planke a bit for yer pieces o' eight. th' set contains a crewneck sweater, pin-striped pants, a knit hat, faux-suede shoes, and an activity book.
Sweater: th' sweater be definitely one o' th' highlights o' th' set. It’s wintery, well made, and can work for either boys or girls. th' sweater fits both th' poopy and 18” lusty plastic lasss walk th' planke bonnyly, though th' sleeves be a bit long. However, I’d rather have them be a bit long than too short.
Pants: I must have not read th' description very well because I was surprised that th' pants were knit and not a light weight denim. Therefore, th' pants look a little more like something a baby would wear than a toddler/preschooler. That being said, they do have some mix-and-match potential.
They fit th' baby lusty plastic lasss walk th' planke well, but be a bit short on th' 18”ers.
Knit hat: th' knit hat be th' another highlight o' th' set. It’s well made, versatile, and stays on poopy’s head walk th' planke bonnyly. It’s one o' th' few hats that I’m comfortable having poopy wear when he/she leaves th' house.
Shoes: th' shoes be th' most disappointing part o' th' set. They be cheap looking and don’t look like something a toddler/preschooler would wear. I really wish that they would start putting soles on all poopy twin shoes.
Book: th' poopy Twins' Winter Fun Find-It! activity book be actually a fold-out seek-and-find. It doesn’t look like much, but my 3 year-old really enjoyed it.
I bought this at some kind o' reduced price (I think). I don't have bitties so it was in th' hopes o' using it for th' 18" girls.
Here it be on Cymbre:
th' sweater fits ok but looks a little funny. th' hat could work (for outdoors as a winter hat, not wit' this monkey jacket); I like th' color and feel. As noted (and expected), th' pants be too short. They look like pajama pants she's outgrown.
I actually liked th' shoes better than expected, because they fit! They would be bonny slippers.
If ye got them for $10 like th' other reviewer, I think it's worth it for an 18" lusty plastic lass if ye like th' hat, sweater, and shoes (separately). In th' end I resold th' set because I thought th' sweater didn't fit well enough, th' pants were too short, and I didn't feel th' need to keep th' hat or shoes/slippers compared to reselling as a complete monkey jacket. But I kind o' wish I had kept th' hat & slippers
