Love it. B+. I would have given it an A except it came so wrinkled that it honestly takes away from the appearance because it hangs a little funky. The velco on the front is a little difficult to close in straight allignment. I love the purple plaid, there are so many nice colors mixed together. The belt on the dress is attached, so I won't lose it, yeah. The blue shirt underneath is seperate and it is a really nice rich color. I love the hat, it is actually big enough to put on without messing their hair all up and it has a little purple butterfly emboidered on it. The boots are okay, nothing special as far a quality, but I do like the height of them.

I purchased the outfit yesteday. I love it but I didn't like the blouse layered under it so my doll wears it without the blouse and it looks great. I think had the dress been totally sleeveless, and the blouse been a turtleneck it would have looked better underneath. But I did not like it layered under cap sleeves. However, overall, it is really cute and I give it an A.

I'll take pictures when I can, but my camera battery is dead The velcro of the dress is in the front, which creates a bit of a "slit" and makes it a bit more scandalous. It's the nice thin velcro though. The logos seem removable with a seam ripper. The boots are the same as Julie's calico dress boots, just in a different color. Overall, A+. Couldn't be happier. Also, mine wasn't wrinkled when I got it.

Cute outfit though I'm slightly disappointed by the boots which look like the boots from a couple other outfits (someone mentioned Julie's, also the prior western outfit which I already have.) The other thing I don't like is that the ties aren't long enough to do a bow. There's a butterfly on the hat but it's kind of hard to see. Wish they'd used a slightly more contrasting thread for it because it's cute. *mod edit to remove dead image links*

I absolutely love this outfit. A+ The dress is cute, and the plaid lines up correctly when you velcro the front together. I am so happy that the long sleeved shirt is a separate piece. The boots are great! They are similar to Julie's calico dress boots, but the stitch pattern is different and I like these better. The hat is really cute and completes the outfit. When it first came out of the box there was a crease all the way around, but now that it's been out for a couple days it's pretty much gone away.

My experience with this outfit is a little different from others. I do love the hat and love the colors and the mix and match possibilities but the dress I received is very short. I put it on my skinnest AG and even when she bends over just a little you can see her tush. Therefore my dolls will be wearing tights with this outfit. Also the dress is wrinkled because the fabric of the dress is not the best....okay, just not the best fabric. Since the velcro does not go all the way down, it would have been nice if they would have finished the seam that shows when the "flap" opens. The boots are easy to put on (unlike the new Western Riding Outfit boots which are near impossible to put on.) I really have to open a photo account so I can post photos.

A+ from me! I love all the pieces, but not exactly in one outfit, all the pieces have a great mix and match potential though. *mod edit to remove dead image links*

I also love this outfit, and I just wanted to add that the tights in the new "Socks & Tights Set" coordinate perfectly with this as do the new "Two-toned Glasses." Here is Brooklyn modeling the outfit with those two accessory additions:

I, will do a review and add pictures later.
A+
Dress: I love the dress it is so cute! I love the pattern and how the shirt is not attached so it's perfect for all seasons. IMO It could improve if the dress was a wee-bit longer. I wouldn't be comfortable wear something that short! Hat: One of my favorite AG hat. The knit look make it look so cute and comfortable. The butterfly is a nice touch. Boots: So cute! The color is nice and cute! I wish there was no velcroe but yeah! Shirt: Good for layering. Nice color. and it's not attached to the dress!

I pawed over this dress when I bought it for a friend, enough to decide that I would not want it for my own collection. I like the concept. But I think the plaid fabric is way too thin and the dress itself is way too short. I think the dress only looks right when paired with some sort of leggings or tights; that is definitely a popular look for the target market aged kids. But otherwise, do not want; this outfit strikes me as incomplete and of middling quality for the asking price.
On the plus side, mix-and match versatility is in its favor with the plain top and nice boots, as well as the hat if you're a hat person.
Overall grade is a B- from me.

I give it an A-.
I didn't know that the plaid was supposed to match up in the front. My dress doesn't do that, and I don't really have a problem with it, I think it looks OK as is.
I only have two complaints with this outfit, although one is easily fixable by me. I would have preferred that the dress be sewn shut in the front and the velcro be in the back. I don't like how it opens at the bottom, especially with how close it is to the doll's crotch area. Oh, and the top button should probably be on the other side, if it's supposed to look like it actually buttons up.
The other "problem" I have is the way the beret is portrayed in AG's photos. I though berets were supposed to tilt towards one side? The way they have the dolls wearing them looks more like a beanie. I've got Mia wearing like an actual beret, and I think it looks much better. It's too big, in my opinion, to wear the way AG's pictures show.
This outfit looks like something I'd actually wear, and therefore, I like it, and am pleased with it. Oh, and it's not pink, either!

I bought the dress because it was so popular especially among the target age group. I wanted it as a wardrobe piece that kids like and wear these days. It was on back order on line at the time, and there weren't all that many left at AGP in NYC.
This thread really gave me some great ideas on how to use the outfit on my dolls. As is, I felt like many, that the skirt was too short, the fabric too thin, needed tights since the hat and boots indicated that this is a cool weather outfit. I paired the outfit with the tights from the Socks and Tights set and used a lilac colored turtleneck top which I thought really pulled the outfit together. I want to get glasses to go with it. I like the long sleeved Tee but I think I'll use that for other mix and match outfits. I love Stassy's use of the gray capris without the shirt and that'll make it a nice warm weather outfit. For those who don't have meet capris, those gray capris are available at AG stores for only $5, the best deal in the place in terms of outfit pieces.
I give it an A-.

Really love this set. I think it's really cute and contemporary, like something one might actually wear. I agree it does seem short, but I've seen girls the target age wearing similar stuff. I like it better with tights or leggings as well. In my pic, it's paired with the Licorice play outfit leggings. The hat is adorable... just love it. The boots are pretty great... they're versatile, and easy for the doll to stand in. Give this set a solid A.

I finally received my dress after months of waiting. I'll add some photos later, but on to the reviews...
The dress: the colors of the plaid are very nice together. The dress is mainly purple, but there are hints of blue, green, and even a subtle pink tone. The dress velcros up the front, which I first considered to be a disappointment until I realized that there was no bulk. The dress hits above the knees. I don't mind the length at all; I think it's cute. The dress looks good with or without the shirt under it. If I have one complaint, it's that the fabric could be thicker. Grade: A-
The shirt: a simple blue tee. It's great for mix and match purposes. The fit is very form-fitting, but nonetheless cute.Grade: A
The boots: almost faux-suede boots; they are rather soft. They are a nice color and would look great with a lot. Grade: A+
The hat: a knit hat in a bright purple with a butterfly emblem. It's cute off, but just looks awkward on. I can't get it to look decent.Grade: A-
Overall grade: A It's a cute outfit, I just expected thicker fabric for the dress.

I too love this outfit. It was one of the outfits I wanted to see in person so when I went to AGC I loved this. I wanted to add that the boots are taller than boots I have from older sets. They also have a flatter heel. They seem more like AG Ugg boots than cowgirl boots. I think the hat is adorable. The colors look nice on both Lanie and Marisol. A+

I think the rest pretty much covered my thoughts on this outfit. It's very nice and original but in my opinion, instead of the tee-shirt I would've liked a pair of tights. (The dress is a little short.) The good part about this outfit is that it has four different pieces that can be easily combined with pieces from other outfits. I love the boots and the hat is adorable! Grade: A

My sister got me this outfit for Christmas. I love using the pieces to mix and match with. Mine wasn't wrinkled when I got it, so overall I give this outfit an A+.

Mine wasn't wrinkled, but here is something beutiful. This dress on Marie Grace. If you own this dress but not Marie Grace, buy Marie Grace, and vice versa. Hounestly, it is beutiful on her!
Very dispointed to add, one of my buttons feel off and got lost. 2nd one up from the bottom. The dress still looks fine, but it still kind of bugs me...

Dress – I like that this dress comes with a long-sleeve shirt. As mentioned previously I think the dress is too short for the target audience. I’m not impressed with the tie as the length of the tie does not give you many options on what to do with the tie. Boots – I really like these boots. They look great and were easy to get on. Beret – The beret is nice. As noted before you can’t make out the butterfly well but I think the beret could have been done without the butterfly. Overall – I love how this outfit looks on McKenna despite the short length of the dress. A+
