From AG's site: "Real Me Outfit: a graphic tee, cuffed capris, cotton underwear, and ballet-flat shoes" The color of the tunic is a light lavender color. I like the graphic design on it; it has a big butterfly and the words "smart, real, strong and kind." There is also a small flower graphic on the right sleeve and the ribbon "American Girl" on the left sleeve. The graphic on the shirt differs in how shiny it is. The dolls my mom and missollymolly got had shirts with a shinier graphic than the one I got. I noticed this in the True Style outfits at the store and then after we got our dolls, noticed it in this outfit. My guess is it's probably factory differences. The capris are a purple hue and slip on. They have elastic on the back. The cuffs are stitched and cannot fold down. The shoes are a cute purple color with little bows. Mine are pretty easy to put on; they have a little bit of wiggle room. The shirt and shoes fit my PM #14 pretty well, however, the capris were pretty tight. Once on it still looked okay though. The charm keeper necklace is okay, although you can't take the ring off. I think it looks better alone than with charms on it and the charms can easily be strung to make bracelets or necklaces for each outfit (which also works if different outfits will be for different dolls). Overall, I give the outfit an A- Here it is on my #31, Tessa: On my PM #14, Gabriella

I ordered a #24 and my only problem with the outfit is that the shirt is kind of sheer which makes the v-neck area very noticeable and almost lumpy. (The term for the cloth that's been turned under and sewn down totally escapes me right now, sorry!)

This outfit is so cute. Definitely a keeper! The only drawback is that AG now only sells the outfit with the doll so the outfit couldn't be purchased alone. I'm not too concerned about this since I'm getting two myamericangirl dolls next month at the AG place so I'll have a couple of these outfits. I also wish AG would sell the charm necklace seperately for my other dolls. Good idea felicityfan85, I make just make a few of my own necklaces.
The jeans are cute and I like that I could pair them with the tees I made from American girl place and some tops I've sewn.

This outfit is okay. It's somewhat bland to me, like they rushed through the design process.
I like the pants! They are very versatile, and are made of somewhat thick material. (Okay, so that's what? The seventh time I've said 'somewhat'?)
I don't like the shirt. I don't like the pattern from the side is okay.
Overall: B.

I do not care for this outfit. The little shoes are cute enough and the capris are okay but I dislike the design of the shirt and the graphic. The quality is okay I guess but the whole outfit is very boring to me. Two of my dolls have come in this outfit and I took if off both immediately, never to be put on another doll. It seems like it was made to be as inexpensive to produce as possible, unlike some of the earlier meet outfits that came with many pieces. Blah. I give it a C. Not so much for quality but because it's boring and too basic and not very attractive.

It's a good quality outfit. I adore the shoes; they are sturdy, a nice colour and go with a number of outfits. I really like the purple denim jeans too, and they go with quite a few things as well. The undies are perfect, nothing special but a nice soft cotton. The top is okay. I like that it has long sleeves andi like the graphics, but I hate the little collar. It looks like it belongs from 1st Century AD. If it was a rounded collar, I'd be a lot happier with the outfit! The charm keeper gizmo is cute, but I hate the feel of the pink cord. I wish it felt less like cooking string!
Overall, A- because the outfit is grand, but there are a few minor changes I would make

Had this since 2010, and it's still good condition.
Shirt: A- Eh. It's soft and easy to put on, but it's kind of thin to me. It's not quite as thin as Samantha's meet dress, but it's still thin. Maybe that's just me. Don't get me wrong, I think it's adorable and very sweet, but it's not my favorite top.
Capris: A+ These are very cute and go with other things nicely! The material is nice and not too thin at all. They compliment hightops and rainboots well.
Undies: A+ They're cute and I love the fact that dolls get underwear at all. Barbies just get molded undies and my generic 18" don't come with undies. I like the lavender color, and they're thin. I'm not complaining, since undies aren't supposed to be like a wool coat. Same fabric as the shirt, I've noticed.
Ballet flats: A+ These look fantastic compared to Samantha's meet shoes (every shoe does, though) and they're quite sturdy even after being mushed in a box of doll clothes and doll shoes. The bows are a nice touch, and I think I wouldn't like the flats as much without the bows.
Charm necklace: A+ I like it and the fact that it's pink. Very nice string, and the ring for charms is easy to undo and fasten back for holding said charms. Unless you cut it, it's not falling apart.
Overall, this outfit gets an A+.

This outfit is very cute and goes with many add-ons. The love the shirt, a little plain, but I love the design!! The capris are really tight, and they slide down when you put your doll in a seating position. I do like how they are purple and cuffed, though. Of course the boring little purple underwear that come with it. And to finish off the purple, the shoes. They're very cute and casual. Overall, this outfit gets an A-.

I'm not a big fan of this outfit. I have two of these; I got one with Abagail (#33), and another with Emma. (#37). The shirt is pretty plain, though it does mix and match well. The shirt doesn't look like anything close to what a target aged girl would wear, and the graphics look thrown on to the shirt. The sleeves of the shirt also has graphics on them, sadly. Plus, The pants are okay. They are a little tight, but cute. The shoes are great for mixing and matching. I don't like how this outfit is a purple overload. I got sick of it, fast. I'll give this outfit a C, maybe a B.

This is the meet outfit for years 2010 to 2012. Here's the breakdown: Top: A nice basic but I wish it was solid white instead of lavender. It looks too much like a pajama shirt to me. My dolls have never worn this since it came off the doll. Nice to layer over though. Pants: Very nice! Love the pink detailing at the sides of the cuffs, wish you could roll it down but it is very cute and accurate to what girls 8-10 are wearing. Would have been nice if they'd put some topsitching at the pockets and crotch but thats asking for too much! Undies: Plain lavender undies. Nuff said. Shoes: Easily my favorite part of the outfit. These flats go with everything! Worth getting this outfit on the secondhand market just for the stinkin adorable shoes. Love the bow on each side! Only problem is, when trying to get it onto my PM dolls foot, the pleather (?) crushes and you have to pull it back up and slip the dolls heel in. Very nice!!! Necklace: Cute, not much special. I put some human charms and beeds on it and it looks very cute. Couldn't figure out how to adjust it so I just knotted it. Of course, it CAN adjust, just I haven't figured it out My rating is a c+ but its a cute outfit and totally worth getting for the pants and shoes

I give this outfit a C. My doll came with this outfit and I'm pretty sure I would never own it otherwise. The tunic is unlike anything I've seen before..I have no idea what AG was attempting to recreate here..The print on the tunic are stickers that can be picked off if you're patient enough to do so. The pants are this weird purple colour that makes it hard to match it with other tops (would it kill AG to create clothing pieces that mix and match?!)They are also very hard to get on an off due to a no velco opening. Like it has been mentioned, they are stitched in and cannot be rolled down. The flats are periwinkle and look good with other outfits. I don't think they match with this outfit exactly. Everything is a weird shade of purple and clashes horrible with my #37's colouring. Definitely not an outfit my dolls would wear and definitely not something I see any young girl wear.
