Bitty Bear is a cutie, and comes with Bitty Baby. Here's a poor quality image of our Bitty Bear. It seems like each Bear looks a tad different, like some are stuffed more than others or have a different facial expression or something. Ours was purchased new in 2003 and has held up pretty well to the force that is my daughter. Bitty Bear is a cutie and lots of fun to pose and dress up in the little accessories that come with many Bitty outfit sets. Bitty Bear's arms and legs are sewn on and will rotate 360 degrees if you want them to. Bitty Bear came with a peach ribbon around his neck when we got him, but currently I think the ribbon is lavender. I give Bitty Bear an A+. Because he's a cutie and Bitty's best friend.

Bitty Bear is so adorable! This little bear also happens to be 5 inches tall. He is a small plush bear with posable legs and arms. When you get him he also comes with a family album book. Bitty Bear is a great adition to American Girl. This small sewn up creature has a big heart and is a wonderful joy to anyone.

Does anyone know whether Bitty Bear was originally made by another company, like how Gotz created the original molds for AG? I'm looking for other toys like it that aren't the expensive Bitty Bunch, but have no idea where to search.

Coming here to ask the same question. I would love to find little jointed animal for doll toys that aren't the super expensive Bitty Bunch. Any animal is fin as long as they are jointed. I already have Samantha's PC Merrythought Bear.
