Identifying Our New Baby

Hi, I have had a dozen or so ONBs and Bitty Babies. Like any of the dolls, there are always variations in facial coloring like lip and cheek color, even just among ONBs or Bitty Babies. But the are other distinct differences. I really think there are different head molds between the two. ONBs have a rounder face and the grooves of their molded hair are deeper. ONBs have VERY blonde eyelashes, but so did some of the early BBs. ONBs have no number under Pleasant Company, or could have a 14, like the early BBs. The arm position is the easiest way to tell the difference. Take a look at this album, and you will see.

The paint used to color the molded blonde hair is also darker than that of a Bitty Baby and the vinyl feels different to me. Some of the ONBs also have the flat neck strings.
