My doll wears her capelet open like in the last picture. This way it doesn't look so tight and confining. My only disappointment is that the boots are hard to close as you can also see from the photo. I wish it had been a blazer as opposed to a capelet but it is still cute.

This has to be my favorite outfit. It has great mix and match potential and gets worn all the time. I give it an A+.
ETA: The purple in the outfit is very similar to the headband that came with the Licorice Play Outfit.

We got this for Christmas and says it's so cute. The boots are really cute. Not crazy about the little buttons - I think for actual use for play velcro would have been better. I'm also not crazy about how short the skirt is, but I'll get over it. Wish the white shirt had alittle more decoration to it.

Trendy dollies. I remember when this came out in late summer of 2010, because within the week I'd be hitting up AGP- MoA. I bought this there.
The outfit is great for the pieces and the coordination of all of them, but the pink and purple, bleh. I like how simple all the components are, just solid colors that can be used for any season or occasion. The white shirt is quality with a velcro back and that darn AG patch near the wrist. I very much appreciate that the skirt does not have velcro, it makes it so much easier to fit on PM dolls. The boots are stylish, if only they would fit PM dolls better, because they fit Mattel dolls perfectly, with no need to pull and strech them just to get the velcro on the back closed. The cape gives the outfit a pattern pop of pink plaid. However, I have no idea how the darn thing is supposted to lay on the doll's shoulders. The catelogues and stores have it displayed in different ways all the time! I ususally let the buttons be in front. Overall, not a bad outfit, in reality I love it and would wear something similar in fall, just not the colors.

I didn't like this enough to buy it when it first came out or until now, when it has gone on sale. I chose the Perfect Plaid instead, that is now a PWP at some stores. I put together outfits similar to this one with the Bitty Baby cape and Like Yours Style Skort.
But now I have it Out of season and it feels "dated" to me. The boots are made of fabric, a little too stylized i the day when the Saige leather high boots are the in things. The cape, nice, but I think I like the knit ones better. This one is very nice wooly material and lined. Real buttons too. Nice versatile cream colord shirt and the skirt is twill which makes it all season. A surprise since I thought it would be a wool type fabric like the cape.
Mix and match potential is high. I'm not crazy about the boots and cape. Probably shouldn't have bought it, even on sale, but I did.
