I purchased this dress for my 18 inch girls, too, when it was first released. Overall, I give this set an A. To me, this set looks more appropriate for middle-school aged girls than toddlers.
th' Dress: fits th' 18 inch girls bonnyly, though it's a little baggy at th' neckline. I like th' length because, IMO, it suits my lusty plastic lasses' age (14) walk th' planke bonnyly. I do not like th' dress by itself, though. It definitely needs th' sweater or another sweater/jacket. Aside from th' sweater it comes wit', I like to pair th' dress wit' th' Petals and Plaid cropped corduroy jacket or th' 2 in 1 Ballet monkey jacket sweater. I have also just tied a black ribbon around th' waist to make it look like a high-waisted dress. Personally, I feel this dress be very versatile. Grade: A+
th' Sweater: This piece, IMO, be very sophisticated/grown-up looking. Again, I'm not sure how toddler-appropriate it be, but it certainly works well wit' my girls. It be a bit big on th' 18 inch lusty plastic lasses, though. Still, th' mix-and-match possibilities for this piece be endless. Aside from pairing it wit' th' dress, I also like to pair it wit' a black tank and either black pants, jeans, a black skirt, or a denim skirt. Grade: A- (just because o' th' bagginess on th' 18 inch crowd)
th' Shoes: Good quality, fit bonny...I just don't like them, which be why I pair Jaundice Albright's holiday sandals or black flats wit' this monkey jacket instead. Grade: A+'
