This doll is much nicer in person. The hair is a very beautiful shade of blonde, and is different then GT3's. I do find some of the dolls freckles to be a little large, and wished they were done more like Kit's. But with that aside thiis doll is still amazing! A

(I just went back and read my original review and have decided to rewrite it-to make it sound better and stuff). I fell in love with #24 after I saw members photos of her, in fall 2005, when I got back into AG; she instantly came to my mind as a Susie Mae. I loved her so much that I asked my dad for her and I got my Susie for Christmas 2005 (she was my 2nd AG; first Mattel girl) and have loved her ever since the moment I opened her! She has pretty wavy hair and I love her brown eyes and cute freckles. I instantly knew that Susie was to sort of be my mini me, personality-wise (we look nothing alike), in 5th/6th grade. She looks like a shy, quiet, afraid-of-what-others-think-of-her type girl, like me. Her hair is easy to manage although it can get in her face but that's common in bangless dolls. She's one of the prettiest AGTs AG has ever made! I definitely give her an A++++++++++++++++++++ (times infinity).

Lexi just joined me and she is perfect a nice color combo that is different then my other modern girls. She has a great balance of light and dark, her blond hair flows so well with her brown eyes. She has cuteness look to her and seem to look younger the the other modern girl I have. She is so cute with her freckles and her piggy tail have light wave to them. Her freckles at first seem so dark and do stand a bit but after a few they grow on you and you start to love them.I don't see having any trouble with color of clothes on her I think she will look great in any colors. I give this Doll A+

Anyone have pictures of her in historical clothes, particularly Samantha's? I do, because Samantha's clothes are about all this girl wears in my house! She is my Caroline Margaret Andreson. I bought her because I dreamt about her in Samantha's movie coat. My dream was right, she does look great in it! She really is a beautiful doll, and her side part is perfect for big Victorian bows. Her wig is the same as Marisol's in length and curl; Mari's wig is different in color and parted on the other side. I think the curls get messy looking very quickly when her hair is down, but other than that, she's perfect. I give this doll an A. Caroline has Samantha's movie coat, Bridesmaid dress, and Spring party dress, and she has Nellie's pajama's and spring party dress. Her modern wear is Nellie's Irish dance outfit and the snowboarding gear.

I posted a couple pics of my Susie earlier in this thread but here are a couple more-she is so cute and definitely has a youthful look (though mine is 10-11) ETA: A couple more photos of pretty Susie (one of my faves)

I got my #24 (to replace #27) to be Claire Bennet from Heroes. While I get where people would think that she looks younger than the other AGTs, I've found that mine looks a bit older, but that could be an eye color issue, or maybe just in my mind because she's supposed to be a teenager.
When I first got her, I knew it was love at first sight and she was destined to be my Claire. I wasn't terribly happy with #27 and decided to give her a shot instead. She is just so lovely, and although her hair is a bit closer to my #6's than I'd like (I like all of my dolls to look different), the curls and lack of bangs make her suitably different to me.
I initially found the double-ponytail look she came with to be the easiest to manage. I didn't want to futz around with brushing her hair and trying to keep the curls (I need a pick, I guess). I had a problem with too many freckles on me, especially on either side of her nose but none actually going over the bridge if they're going to go over her nose, but they've grown on me and I find them adorable.
I can't comment much on the eye color since, as you can see, mine now has blue eyes (swapped with Firinel's #23). I think this may contribute to her looking older. I know a lot of people groan at the thought of another blonde with blue eyes, but I adore my Claire and think she's gorgeous. I started letting her hair down, as you can see, and I love the headband on her. It's amazing how Claire looks totally different from the other #24s, and she just has a different eye color, isn't it?
A+

I ordered #24 in June 2007. Her hair is fairly long and wavy, and is easy for little girls to style. However, the waves can weaken through play, especially by hairstyles forcing it to go straight. Her name is Lilly and she stays at my house for my oldest niece.

I LOVE this doll. She is totally gorgeous. My Kelsea is 12, and I love her freckles and curly hair. I got her when I was ten, and she looks a lot like me. She usually wears glasses and looks SO cute!!!!!!!

I got my #24, Lily, in August of '05 as a gift from my parents for getting into graduate school. I simply adore my Lily. My #24 probably has the thickest hair of all of my dolls, which makes it great to style. I love the hair and eye color combination. I think #24 has a sweet and youthful yet mature look to her which makes her a very versatile doll. #24 looks great in pretty much anything that you dress her in. She is definitely one my favorites.

This is just a beautiful doll. I also had the honor of hosting a traveling 24 for a time, and she and my own Gretchen were great friends. I like how the freckles are different on the same model of doll. Her hair is so gorgeous that I hate to do anything but leave it loose and admire it: But it does go nicely into up-do's. Here is Traveling Emma visting Mrs. Ford's Dress Shop in 1863: Some more photos: This is a great doll for a girl who enjoys playing with doll hair, because no matter what, it doesn't seem to lose its natural wave. A+ from me.

I posted a photo of my #24 a couple years ago. I love this doll because she is so versatile!! I got her in 2004 when she first came out and automatically fell in love with her. I was in fifth grade then and wanted my #24 to be my age. In younger clothes, she made the perfect 11-year old. But she can grow! I now see her as a teenager, and she fits the role perfectly. She is beautiful!

Love, love LOVE her. Christine was my first JLY as an adult and she is so gorgeous. Her hair isn't that hard to care for once you've mastered the finger curling. *link to locked album removed*

I have had #24 since she came out in 04-05?? and I absolutely love her. She had a sweet gentle look about her, I have looked after her hair and it still looks brand new #1 rule NEVER brush the curls out/down, and you don't need an AG hair pick either. I use the AG brush and brush her hair in motion with the curls so I brush side ways I guess you could say (hope that makes sense)
These pics are pretty bad but its all I have of her on her own, I must take more

I just love this doll!! I bought her nude on eBay and dressed her in Gwen's sundress. Her hair is thick and full and lots of fun to style, with endless possibilities. I love her warm brown eyes and cute freckles. Her face has so much personality. #24 is my favorite JLY and the only non-historical doll in my small collection. I give her an A+.

My DD bought #24 with her own money at the AG Store in Atlanta. This is my DD's review. She loves her pretty brown eyes. She also likes her wavy, long hair. She thinks she is one of the prettier My AG dolls. She likes how she kind of looks like her. She thinks you will love her just as much as she does.

I LOVE my #24 (Juliet Anne O'Hara) I named her after Juliet on Psych. This doll is my absolute favorite. Her hair is easy to take care of and she's just fabulous! I had a hard time deciding between her and julie but i chose Juliet. She's my favorite doll. Realistic hair color and cute freckles. She looks great in any outfits especially Mia's Pjs. A++++

I just got #24 last week. I have been wanting her for a while and I finally broke down and bought her when I went to AGPSeattle. She is so cute and I just love her hair and freckles!! Her hair is a good length and she has a pretty thick wig, much much thicker than my #23. I was debating between #27 and #24, it was a hard decision but #24 has always caught my eye when looking the the My AG dolls so I thought it was finally time to bring her home. I have no regrets, she has quickly become one of my favorites. After much consideration I named her Riley.
