Here's my GT 20 Blonde hair w/bangs and soft gray eyes. This doll is mattel and her name is Hollyanne. She looks great in a lot of outfits, I keep thinking I want to sell her to get the one with blue eyes, but I just can't b/c she's too cute. Here's a pic:

I love my GT#20, Robyn Elaine, whom I've had since 1995. With Molly, both my gray eyed girls: Robyn also enjoys primping:

Here's Marjorie (1996 PM GoT): With her friends Mara (#8) and Margie (#21): Even though Marjorie was bought as a "me" doll when I was 11, I'm turning her into a historical character from 1994. Margie has replaced her as the new "me" doll, but Marjorie has always been my girl (and Molly's bff, I might add).

Here she is in her holiday outfit: One of my favorite JLYs, even though she's retired. Gorgeous with A+ hair! Mine does have bubble eye, but it makes her unique. =)

Here's Marjorie in her wonderfully '90s Valentine's Day outfit! (She has hearts woven into her hair, which is why she looks sort of like a boy haha.)

My friend has this doll. A PM one from 1995. She's beautiful... the blonde hair and grey eyes are a unique combination. Her hair, however, is a lot drier and beat up than my Wendy (PM # 12, also from 1995.) She's still a wonderful doll. I don't have pics atm, though.

Why didn't I see this before? My darling Leah was brought in late March but arrived on April 13th of this year.
(picture would be here if photobucket wasn't being mean)
Leah was a very unexpected ebay purchase. I was looking for a blonde AG with green eyes. I found a few, but after clicking away on the next icon, I found Leah. The seller was very blunt in her really long discription. She said that she didn't smoke but it was possible that smoke was around the doll and if the buyer didn't like it - don't buy. Leah's adorable smile won me over and I accepted the purchase. When Leah came home to me, I could smell the smoke but because I've been around my boyfriend's smoking family (with inhaler in hand) I thought I could handle Leah... apparently not.
Despite the fact she did have a small hair cut (that's why I asked about a blonde wig before, Brenda if you happen to see this - now I don't mind it either way) and came to me in a creepy looking night gown, I still give her an A.

#20 was always a dream doll for me; as a child, she looked the most like me. I wanted #8 more, but I'd always wanted to get #20 someday - and then #20 was retired shortly after I got my #8. As I detail on this instagram post, I made a habit of scanning ebay for her. As she's been long retired and also looks similar to #3 and Kirsten (the grey is visibly different in person, but I can see how a non-collector, looking up the doll to list online, might assume her eyes are blue), she's hard to find on her own. I managed to find her on ebay for a steal (listed as just "blonde"), and she arrived in nearly mint condition: http://instagram.com/p/CBQ73his00M She's PC from the squish of her vinyl its the warmer (not grey!) tones (not to mention her missing body tag). Her eyelashes are soft and by an insane stroke of luck, at this point she shows no signs of silver eye or bubble eye. I can't date her more succinctly than "pre-Mattel", as she didn't come in a meet outfit. I suspect she was a display doll (most likely in a case as there was no dust on her whatsoever), as her limbs are extremely tight, hair smooth and soft, and face paint as vibrant as I have ever seen on a PC (no, I didn't touch her up!). She also came wearing a full early 00s GOT outfit, which furthers my suspicion. Her only flaw was some ink transfer from the bracelet from her outfit, which I took care of with some magic eraser followed by oxy treatments. http://instagram.com/p/CBizAkyM0xP I've named her Sláine Margaret Maguire; her middle name an homage to my grandmother, whose coloring (and ancestry, though my grandmother was born in the US) she shares. Here she is next to Jenniflore, my #85: http://instagram.com/p/CDtuKnpsebU
