*This outfit is not seen in any of Julie's books* I bought this as soon as it came out. The peasant top and separate skirt are nice for some mix and match options. The shoes are also a nice color to wear with other outfits. I do not own Julie, so Mary (#23) is modeling here. Top: The smocking is done very neatly and the bow is a nice accent. The fabric is lightweight cotton. Skirt: The stripes are great for the time period. Love the diagonal design on the front. The back is just horizontal stripes. The attached belt looks good and does not sag like the belts on some outfits. The fabric for the skirt is a very lightweight denim type. Shoes: Nice color. Have the clear stretchy strap across the heel, but also have velcro on the top. Headband: Very cute accessory. The flowers on mine were not centered, so tying in the back looked funny. (In the store Julie had it tied in the back.) I tied it on the side and like that look better anyway. The band is a braided suede type fabric and the flowers are a similar fabric. Overall, this outfit gets an A. The only problem I found was that it was a little big on Mary. She does seem to be on the skinny side though. I have not tried it on any of my other girls to check the fit.

I received this outfit along with Kanani's Aloha Outfit in the same shipment and wow, it's like night and day. This outfit makes Kanani's Aloha Outfit look so cheap. I love everything about this outfit. I think it's worth every penny. I bought this outfit with Lanie in mind but I think she will share this one with Kanani. The shirt surprised me. I was expecting it to be like a t-shirt material and it's more like a blouse. The skirt is very vibrant with the striping and the shoes look like real shoes that were worn during that time period (they're very well made). I give this outfit an A+ and very highly recommend it.
ETA - This outfit looks really great on Kanani (better than I thought it would actually).

I'd like to try to copy this outfit for mini Julie. Is the back of the skirt just like the front? Also, where is the opening? The back of the skirt is the same cut as the front, but the stripes are horizontal - not diagonal. It has a velcro closure in the center back.

This outfit is very cute. The skirt is a colorful chevron print and made out of a canvasy-type material. The shoes are blue Dr. Scholls and stay on her feet well. The headband is ADORABLE with the little flowers, and you can tie it around her head, or you can even use it as a belt for some other outfits!
I don't have Julie, but my mom does, so I can try to take some pictures of her wearing this outfit a little later, when I have my camera.

I have wanted this outfit since I first got a peek at it. I went to AGP NYC today and bought it. I am very disappointed in it, and hope that I just got one that was returned or just not representative.
It is a cute outfit, no doubt about it. But mine was wrinkled more than I had expected. The neckline also seems to be stretched out. If it is not, then it really is too wide for the dolls. I had a lot of plans for this outfit so I hope that when I return it, that the blouse fits a lot better than this one. Right now I have to give the fit a "D", though the outfit look is an "A". All of my dolls except Addy would look so cute in this if it fit better.

This IS Ivy, she just grew her hair out. Sometimes she wears the headband as a choker or a belt. Attachments:

I love this outfit, but the skirt would barley close on my #23. I may return it for another skirt to see if a different one fits better. Loved everything else about this outfit.
A-, love everything, but wish the skirt was a bit larger.

I received this as a birthday present from my parents. I'm not as thrilled with it as some of the other posters.
I actually collect for Julie, and this is for my Julie doll. Compared to the rest of her clothing collection, this outfit is lacking and just doesn't seem as nice.
You get a headband, skirt, slides, and blouse for your money. It costs as much as the Calico Dress but isn't anywhere near as impressive.
The blouse is cool and fits over Julie's head nicely. It does not have velcro. The colors on it are very nice and fit well with the rest of Julie's collection. I had somewhat of a gripe with the fact that the blouse is shapeless, but was informed by Mom that shapeless was in for girls--you wore it shapeless, or with a belt, or tucked in. So the blouse has many options, and because of the colors AG chose, it goes well with Julie's other clothing items.
The slides are not that impressive. Contrary to the apparent beliefs of the folks over in Wisconsin, just because a place doesn't get snow doesn't mean it never gets cold. So poor Julie gets yet another pair of sandals. They slide on or you can use the velcro along the top. They remind me of the slides that were sold with a MyAG outfit a few years back, the one with the green hoodie. I can't remember its name.
The headband is cute but because of Julie's hair texture it doesn't like to stay on her head. It took me some time to get it to look right and to not cause Julie's hair to get staticky and poof up. Bonus: it can also be used as a belt, since AG made it so that you can actually tie it.
The skirt was the biggest disappointment for me. A real skirt from the time period would have had the stripes go all the way around with a V in the back. This skirt does not. Also, this is probably the first AG outfit, and the first for Julie, where the belt does not go all the way around. The belt is just on the front only. So the skirt looks cool from the front, and is cute, but the belt doesn't even go all the way around, let alone the pattern. My skirt also arrived wrinkled and the belt has threads coming off of it.
This outfit costs as much as the Calico Dress, is within $4 of the Floral Jumpsuit, and near the same cost as the Hoops Outfit. For me, it is an okay addition to Julie's collection. But in terms of quality it is less than prior Julie outfits.
Grade: B (half a belt? what were they thinking?)

Am I the only one who is bothered by how the side seams do not match up? I love this outfit, but cannot stand to view it from the side, as my eye keeps catching the mis-matched stripes on the side seam! I drop the outfit to a B+ due to the skirt!

I don't have Julie, but this outfit is so cute, I just had to get it. I like the colors on the skirt, and I haven't had any trouble with it. The shirt is cute and I like the stretchy pullover. The shoes are nice too. I'm not a fan of the headdress, but the outfit is great! Here it is on #53, Allie.
