Sparkly Tunic and Jeans Outfit & Book for Dolls - New! $26 GSST
A+
This set includes the tunic, jeans, clogs and a book called "Show Time". It also includes some little sparkly hair elastics.
I love everything about this outfit.
The tunic is made of crepe, a crinkly fabric. The color of the tunic is just amazing. It is a very pretty soft aqua color. Wide aqua rick-rack criss-crosses at the empire waist of the tunic. A vine-like design is embroidered around the neckline, then embellished with sequins. Even more sequins are sewn around the rick-rack. The back of the shirt closes with Velcro. A matching ribbon is attached to each side of the shirt, and ties in the back to give a pretty fitted look in the front.
The jeans are great- very basic. They are a nice dark blue with nice orange stitching and a brass button at the waist. The legs are slightly flared at the bottom. The worn look is subtle and cute. These would be great mix and match or all purpose jeans.
The little clogs are just darling! They are almost the same color as the tunic. They have a nice thick rubber sole that is made to look like wood on the sides. The shoes close with a snap on the outside. They are decorated with pretty pink and silver metallic embroidery.
The "glitter filled hair bands" are nothing more than tiny silicone hair elastics that are aqua with tiny flecks of glitter in them. They are cute, but nothing special.
I love the addition of the book to this set. It is a small book, but the price of the outfit did not reflect the addition of a book, so I really do think of it as a very nice extra bonus.
This a one of the prettiest outfits I have seen in a long time. A+

A++
This is just adorable!! The tunic top is just a beautiful color. I love the feel of the fabric...very lightweight, but in a good way. The rick rack and sequined trim is very pretty. The jeans are distressed, but very versatile in my opinion. They could definitely be matched up with other pieces. And finally the clogs are very sturdy and cute. They have a strap that snaps in the back so that they stay on very well. This outfit also comes with six hair elastics, so if you are good fixing dolly hair you have the option to use these.

This is one of the cutest today outfits! All my other dolls are jealous and fighting over who gets to wear it! Actually, this outfit probably looks good on them all! I love the colors, and the clogs are just the cutest! I may have to order another one!

I have this on my Jasmine, and she looks wonderful! This is probably one of the best sets they have ever come out with my opinion. The colors are just wonderful. I love the jeans and they of course work with so many other outfits. This is an A++++++ outfit! It's a must have!!!

I'm glad to hear that other dolls are having trouble keeping the pants on -- I thought Sara was having issues just because she was PM. Good thing she has undies. Let me throw my pictures in. I really think this looks awesome with Sara's red hair: Also, this outfit comes with PLAIN JEANS, something we've wanted! And my shoe pictures aren't as nice as American Mommy's, but I'll post them anyway:

I LOVE this outfit also! So much I got the matching shirt for me! I would definately reccomend this outfit. It is TOO CUTE! I just want to add that the pants are SO TIGHT though. Either that or my PM Molly just has a big butt. They don't fit on PM dolls well. They can't bend their legs without the pants slipping down to their thighs.

I don't have a pic (as doll is still under wraps for XMAS) but I bought this for her doll AND for my (human) Emily. It is sooooo cute. I also then went to Hanna Andersson and bought my dd MATCHING teal clogs for her as well. Just a suggestion for anyone also buying this for their daughter. So cute!

I love this outfit as well...it lookes especially adorable on my Emily. The pants don't fit my WB Samantha as well... she has a real chunky butt on her. But its adorable and I give an A+ as well!

I bought this outfit yesterday to transform a Nellie into a mini version of my best friend.
- The sparkles on the clogs are a very nice surprise. Clogs were very easy to put on, even on top of the socks I also bought. - Sparkly tunic is a good texture. Not super thick, but not so thin that you would need a camisole underneath or that the camisole shows up blatantly. - Jeans are not my style, but my friend likes them like that. They fit well over the panties in the underwear set. - Hair elastics are pretty pointless. If they are making a hair accessory, make a good one that will last and is not so easy to misplace.
Overall an A- Jeans could be prettier and it could bring a longer lasting hair accessory. Otherwise it is very good. My friend wears stuff like that IRL but it truly is not something I would wear myself.

Goodness, it took me long enough to buy this outfit. This is a very cute, plain outfit, plain being good. I could see myself and others wearing something like this today without looking like a trendy weirdo caught up in some fashion fad. (*cough*what'swiththebootsAG*cough*) The tunic is a very pretty color, and I especially like the sleeves. The jeans are...jeans. And jeans are cool, right? The clogs are surprisingly adorable, and have clasps in the back to keep them on. So yeah, nothing very descriptive here, but the photos in this thread should already be showing you how nice the outfit it. Grade: A+ Wow, first A+ outfit for me. =0

I absolutley love this outfit! My clogs are un-threading, though. Shirt is oh-so cute! To bad they don't have adult sizes!

Could someone please post a picture of how the shirt ties in the back? I would love to see what it looks like. Thanks!

I LOVE this outfit, it is so gorgeous on any doll, of any coloring. Shirt: This shirt is a crepe fabric in a beautiful aqua blue color. It has rickrack ribbon crossed around the middle and sequins around the trim with more sequins around the neck line, along wth some embroidery. It has velcro closure in the back and two pieces of ribbon tie in the back as well. I like this shirt a lot, but with only this outfit. It doesn't have much "mix-and-match-ability" if you know what I mean. It only goes with other pairs of jeans/jean skirts. I don't have anything in my doll wardrobe close to this color. The closest I can come are the blue camo shorts from the skateboard outfit. This piece seems quite durable, and I've had it since it came out in 2006 and it has held up beautifully, even with lots of use. None of the sequins have come off, and the ribbon has not frayed. Cuteness: A+ Quality: A+ Mix and Match: C- Overall: A-(because of coordination with other pieces) Shirt Close up of embroidery, rickrack, and sequins Back of Shirt Back of shirt, ribbon tied Pants: The main reason I got this outfit was for the pants! The are the cutest little jeans ever! The distressing is subtle and adds a nice touch, but itsn't overwhelming. I love the button where it closes in the front(just like real jeans!), and the butt pockets, front pockets, and AG logo on the back. It has GREAT mix and match options. These jeans go with anything basically. They are a nice heavy denimish material that feels like real jeans. They are holding up great after a few years too. VERY realistic in my opinion. Cuteness: A+ Quality: A+ Mix and Match: A+ Overall: A++ Anyone who is looking for a great pair of versitile pants, this is a great pair jeans, worth the price of the outfit in my opinion! Jeans Close up of the "distressing" (sorry if my ugly hand in the way ruins it! lol) Button up front (not a really working button by the way, just decoration) Butt pockets and AG logo(silver thing in right hand corner) Shoes: ADORABLE!!! They are adorable! They are made to look like clogs, and have foam stuff for the sole, which looks like wood on the sides. They have cute silver and pink stitching on them, which is a nice touch. The inside is a satin in the same color blue. They close by snaps, and are super easy to get on. They do not go with many other outfits though, because of the color... The clogs, like all the other pieces of this outfit, are holding up great and are very high quality/durable. Dolls stand up easily in them too, much is a major pro of this outfit. Nothing irritates me more than shoes that dolls look stupid standing up in(see sweet kitten heels) or can't stand up in at all (see any kind of poofy slipper review) Cutest little things ever. Cuteness: A++ Quality: A Mix and Match: C- Overall: A-(not an A or A+ because of the coordination with other clothing items) Aren't they cute? Hair ties:They are what they are, hair ties. They're the cheap, elasticy, small, and very breakable kind. They're cute with the glitter in them though. Overall, okay I guess? You can't really rip on hairties too much... Cuteness: B Quality: F They break much to easily and too small for little fingers to use*think of the kids AGg! Mix and Match: A I guess they could go with anything blue? Overall: B They're just hair ties, nothing extravagant. Book: Meh, who reads the books? I think AG should cut the books and hangers make the outfits a few bucks cheaper. I don't know how I can really grade this because all the books are tossed in a drawer usually... Overall Grade For WHOLE OUTFIT: A- Misses the plus because of the mix and match options, but I think the jeans make up for it! Whole outfit What it looks like on a doll (Emily) I would recommend this outfit, its very cute! The pieces are all high quality (except those darn hair bands, but who really uses those anyways?) and realistic. *mod edit to fix images*

Here's a close-up of the shirt detail that's in focus: The broomstick crepe looses its look after a few years, apparently, especially when pressed flat. Although the jeans are a nice pair for making lots of outfits, I find that the feathering is just too strong and is distracting. Also kind of ugly. I wish it weren't as heavy or more faded than it is, but I'm not a fan of feathering in general anyway. I prefer the AGP blue jeans instead.

I bought this from a board member and it arrived today. It is adorable. I love the top and the clogs are too cute! Kit (Mattel version) is wearing it right now and the jeans fit her fine. I haven't tried them on any of our PM dolls. My daughter has claimed it for Kit and won't let anyone else wear it. I guess I will have to track down another outfit for the other dolls to share.

I love this outfit! The flaired jeans are so versatile, the clogs are adorable, and the top is a lovely teal that is NOT pink. Also comes with ten or so glitter-filled hair elastics that I'm pretty sure I've used up already. Grade: A+++ [Uglydoll NOT included - obviously]

I love this outfit. One day I hope to have a set for each of my girls. The jeans can be worn with anything and everything, which is priceless. They fit both of my WB dolls (Samantha is super skinny and Kirsten is thicker) as well as my mattel girl. My dolls always stand so I have not noticed the jeans falling off. The top is nice and it's looser style is forgiving for those dolls that are thicker. I have also paired the top and clogs with Mia's jean skirt, which looks nice as well. The clogs are nice but I only use them with this outfit. However, I think they would also look good with Mia's Sweater from her 2 in 1 set. Overall I would give the outfit an A.

This outfit is probably my favorite outfit I ever purchased from AG. Not only does this outfit work well for modern girls, it's also perfect for Julie and Ivy. The tunic top is a very versatile piece- it looks great with jeans OR a denim skirt. The teal color and detail of the rick rack and rhinestones make this a unique piece. The jeans...what can I say? They are a great mix and match piece and probably one of the main reasons I got this outfit. As cute as the clogs are, they really can't be worn with anything but the tunic. This outfit gets an A++ from me.

Best AG outfit ever! The jeans are amazing, and the tunic is a lovely color that looks good on any doll. I love how easy the shoes are to get on and off with the clasp. I wish the photographer outfit had the same thing on its clogs. I love the simplicity of this ensemble.

I agree this is a great outfit, but I sold the jeans because of the "feathering" -- I think it's overdone and/or I just don't like that look in general.
