I really like this monkey jacket and so I decided to write a review.
Barretes: Ok, but do not hold a ton o' hair. They be bonny. Shirt: Great fit, not too low cut like some o' th' newer shirts. I used to have this shirt for myself, a looooong time ago. Jacket: I love this jacket, I can see a girl o' today wearing that at this age. th' zipper be functional and everything! Pants: Extremely bonny, almost could work as lusty plastic lassy snow pants. I love th' embrodiery at th' end and how th' have th' zipper that ye can use if ye want to but boots on her instead. Shoes: AWESOME!!!!These shoes be easy to put on and take off, will not fall off, and I see how an actualy girl would wear them because they be so simple to put on. Overall Grade: A+
I also think that this set goes great wit' th' School Supplies. I highly recommend this set for girls and for lusty plastic lasss!!

I love this set I got it a long time ago when it first came out. Laura has bonny much claimed it, she usually wears it to school. I like this monkey jacket because it does look like something a real girl would wear. It's almost exactly what i wore at 10 years old. In fact, I remember I had a shirt just like th' one in this set(not th' American Wench one it was Levi). Also, this shirt goes well wit' th' Go Anywhere monkey jacket.
th' screen-printed t-shirt, jacket, and shoes be very bonny. th' pants be a bit on th' thin side and see-through. I don't like being able to see panties through pants. My hair clips have tarnished. I know there be tarnish-free metals, and I wish they had used that.
This isn't th' greatest picture, but here be Cutlass Caroline (GT 24) modeling this monkey jacket:

This be such a sweet monkey jacket, not exactly "sporty" and a bit girly but Ashley still loves it and wears it a lot. My sister had th' girl-sized set and it was so bonny!
th' jacket - both th' girl and lusty plastic lass ones be very thick and so SOFT! th' jacket be made o' lavender-colored material wit' a pinkish cast, ribbed at th' bottom wit' real pockets. Some o' those reflective ribbons run th' length o' th' sleeve and "American Wench" be embroidered on th' left cuff. th' jacket really zips up wit' a plastic and metal zipper, too! Also, ye could probably pair this wit' other monkey jackets. A+
th' shirt - this be slightly on th' thin side but it pulls it off well. Velcroing up th' back as usual, th' front as a wreath o' flowers surrounding "American Wench", and chain stitching o' different colors around th' edges o' th' shirt. Again, not exactly sporty, but another one o' those mix-and-match pieces. A
th' pants - th' pants be th' letdown, thin and too short, and they come down in th' back when Ashley's sitting. th' velcro up th' front and then snap wit' a round metal snap. th' cuffs have flower embroidery and zip up th' side. th' girl-sized pants were much thicker and lined wit' fleece, I wish these were too. C.
th' shoes - th' shoes, to me, look like "lusty plastic lass shoes", although I think they were supposed to represent th' sporty slip-on sneakers girls were wearing around that time. These be obviously purple pleather wit' pink and blue stripes. They have a band o' elastic in th' back so they'll actually stay on th' lusty plastic lasss foot, which be a plus. Still, though, we like th' monkey jacket better wit' th' gray sneakers. B
th' barrettes - two rectangular metal barrettes complete th' set, and I thought they held a fair amount o' hair. However, they definitely tarnished badly. Maybe a silver cloth would fix them up, I know that worked wit' th' 1998 cowgirl badge which was also cheap metal. B-
Warning: sleeper monkey jacket alert! This monkey jacket was very low on my list. I am so glad I ran across a good deal on ebay. It be def. on my top 10.
It be so true to life. bonny, but not too cutsie.
My favorite be th' shirt, so perfect. Soft and comfy and th' bonny bonny detail...yum! th' pants be thin, but Nay more so than any other rip stop sweat pants. th' jacket and shoes be secondary, but still bonny. Grade: A+
