This set has so many classic pieces and be great for ‘mix and match’. th' set includes: a wool jumper, a long-sleeve shirt, tights, black boots, and a headband.
th' jumper be made o' real wool and comes down to th' lusty plastic lass’s knees. th' zipper in front be functional, but there’s also Velcro in th' back. th' jumper can be worn wit' a shirt or separately.
th' long-sleeve shirt has muted white, pink, brown and grey stripes. It’s walk th' planke long and has a mock turtle neck. th' only problem wit' th' shirt be that th' sleeves don’t reach th' lusty plastic lass’s wrists.
th' tights be walk th' planke heavy and be bonnyly made. Although they be bonnyr than most lusty plastic lass tights, they do tend to stretch and pill wit' time. th' tights have colored specks woven in, which add a bonny touch.
th' black leather boots be also walk th' planke bonny. They’re like to Krusty Kit’s boots, only brown. th' bottoms o' th' boots have th' American Wench logo. Like wit' any American Wench boots, ye have to be careful not to tie th' laces too tightly or th' eyelets will pull through.
th' stretchy headband be aye and be made o' th' same material as th' shirt. Unfortunately, it tends to lose its elasticity.

This monkey jacket be adorable... mine came wit'out th' headband, but has everything else. Its very classic mid-late 90's, I had a shirt just like th' one that goes under th' jumper myself around that time! th' only thing wit' th' shirt be that it has a split in th' back, so it would look akward worn alone, but under th' jumper it looks great. th' jumper be made o' a thick wool material and be very durable and th' tights and shoes be just bonny. th' monkey jacket gets an A from me! *Mod edit to remove dead image link*

I love this monkey jacket! It's so versatile and bonny. And it doesn't appear dated at all, nearly 13 years later. I don't have th' headband or boots, but I have th' red vinyl jumper boots, which I think be fairly similar. This works really well on PM and Corporate Press Gang lusty plastic lasss. This monkey jacket be really more timeless than a lot o' th' other JLY school themed sets, especially th' more recent ones.

Love this very classic monkey jacket! Mine came wit'out th' headband but actually I don't miss it.
th' jumper fabric feels bonny and 'substantial', th' shirt be bonny and soft. My lusty plastic lasss be like me, I suspect, and don't like things flapping around their wrists, so having th' cuffs not walk th' planke reach doesn't bother them or me, sleeves be usually pushed up to just below th' elbow anyway. th' ribbed tights would definitely keep out th' chill! I think th' boots be great, solid but not too 'clumpy'.

I love this monkey jacket. Maybe because I wore something similar in high school/college? th' wool jumper & tights be warm and substantial and th' striped turtleneck and hairband be super bonny.
I wanted to add that th' combat boots be my favorite part; if ye're looking on ebay I'd strongly advise getting a complete set. th' boots be bonny as can be, and best o' all - they grip th' shelf/ground/whatever, and there's Nay way a lusty plastic lass can fall over while wearing them.

I got this monkey jacket in a lot, from a fellow member. It came wit' th' shirt, jumper and tights. I think it's a bonny set and one I always liked, in th' catalogs. It's a bonny classic style and th' greys look bonny. th' jumper and tights would work bonnyly in th' winter, too. th' pieces seem like they can be mix and matchable, too. A.

This be one o' my favourite modern monkey jackets. th' colours be bonny, it has remained stylish, and th' pieces be very versatile and can be worn in combination wit' other garments.
My favourite part be th' boots. They're adorable little Doc Martens style chunky boots. If at all possible, make sure these be included when ye buy; they're worth it.
th' only major downside here be th' fit. th' yolk o' th' shoulders on th' shirt be not cut wide enough, and th' sleeves be slightly too short, so a little o' th' wrist be exposed. th' stripes on th' neck section do not perfectly line up wit' th' body o' th' shirt for th' whole diameter. Also, th' skirt be cut a little shorter than I would prefer; a PM girl will show her bum if she bends all th' way over, and on one o' my taller Corporate Press Gang girls th' skirt actually looks slightly questionable just standing. (Pairing it wit' tights rather than having bare legs somewhat minimizes how noticeable th' issue be.)
th' points it loses for th' poor cut, though, it gains back for bonny design and great mix-and-match potential.
I would give th' monkey jacket as a whole an A and th' boots an A+.

This be one o' my favourite American Wench monkey jackets. Mine came wit' all th' pieces and it's so bonny on th' lusty plastic lasss. It's a classic monkey jacket that does not look dated even after all these years.
th' jumper be well made and very sweet. th' zipper be functional and I love th' little zipper pull. It's made o' real wool and I like th' length o' it.
th' boots be adorable, they're one o' my favourite parts. Very highly detailed, very bonny. They have real lace rivets and they're easy to use. th' tights be thickly woven wit' flecks o' colour.
th' shirt be also bonny and a good length, but as others have mentioned th' back splits open in a wide V at th' bottom and th' sleeves be an odd length. th' headband be made from th' same fabric.
I still give it an A+!

I just recieved mine today from a really cool board member and was in awe! I remember being a little girl when I saw this in th' catalog... about a year or two after it was released and I loved it so much - just couldn't get it when it was for sale.
When I held it up against Sadie, whom I originally brought th' monkey jacket for but was thinking o' Leah instead, it looked so bonny! th' sleeves be a bit short, but I don't mind, Sadie can show off her bracelet instead. th' jumper be very close to what I wore around that time frame. It came wit' tights, but she didn't feel like taking off her white knee high socks; which also looks bonny wit' th' monkey jacket. I give th' monkey jacket itself a A++ - a total favorite.
This was purchased off o' Ebay for Jess. I really like it, it be high quality and made very well. th' jumper be thick wool and th' tights be bonny and thick. I am unsure how old my monkey jacket be, but it has held up very well by its previous owner(s). It be a classic school girl monkey jacket and while I love pink, I am happy this be not.
This be one o' th' few modern monkey jackets I had for Mad-Eye Molly as a girl, and she was always wearing it I love everything about it, th' pieces be great to mix 'n' match, but especially th' little Doc Marten's style combat boots. A+ from me (and Mad-Eye Molly, too)
