We got my daughter #55 at the DC store yesterday. We love her looks for reasons others have already stated. However there may be some quality control issues in their factories, because the Marie-Grace we also bought yesterday was defective and must also be returned. For #55 the wig was surprisingly thin, there were numerous stitching threads sticking out in various places, some that I did not dare try to snip. And the seam where the hair is stitched into the wig base was very prominently protruding like a knot at the left doll's temple, making it unsightly to pull her hair back into certain styles. So, both dolls will have to be returned, unfortunately, (Marie-Grace was shedding like my cat).
I'm hoping the next #55 will be free of noticeable defects, as she is quite lovely, otherwise.
editing to add that as far as hair color goes, I'm stunned by the realism. I took the doll outdoors since we can't get back to VA yet to return it. I looked at the doll's hair to compare it to my daughter's hair. The color match between the doll hair and my child's hair was shockingly close. My daughter has just a hint more of a red tinge in her hair. But you can hardly tell the difference. It's incredible how many different shades of brown are incorporated into the wig to make a natural blend of highlights and low lights.

I bought my Fern in june, when i want to the NYC store! HAIR: sooo gorgeous!i love putting it in 2 five-strand-braids.. i wasn't very careful with her hair- she was my 1st doll along with McKenna, but put it in rollers and the curl come straight back! its a bit dry at the ends, but i love her so much its not really a problem. EYES: Awwwwwhhhh!! her best feature! they are green with brown liney spekkey bits.. dunno how to describe it! Greener with more light, darkey with less- just like mine! I couldnt ask for any better! FRECILS: Fern wouldnt be right without frecils! she is my me-doll, so she HAD to have frecils, one little complaint- they're symetrical.. eh.. i know for a fact that NO ONE has symetrical frecils! anyway, wouldnt ever let me swap her for another doll! Quality- as usual, AG have stunned me with remarcible quality! her wig cap isnt great, but the beauty and quality make up for it! mine has lovely rosey lips and cheeks, making her really sweet

I have nothing but good things to say about #55. My Aria is beautiful and has a very sweet expression. Her hair and eye combination is gorgeous. With that dark brown hair and those pretty hazel eyes, she reminds me a bit of Lucy Hale, who plays Aria Montgomery on Pretty Little Liars (hence her name). She is absolutely perfect. She gets an A+++ from me! Here is a photo of my Aria (with a magazine photo of Lucy Hale): Aria Brielle by sharayahlynn, on Flickr

Here is Niamh, my #55. She is a classic & in my opinion can be used to represent any era. I'm using Niamh to be my 1930s girl as well as my 1940s girl since I have both of those collections but not Kit or Molly. I like #55 better than Kit or Molly. I might also have her live in 15th C Ireland sometimes.

Didn't intend to get this doll. Got the last one at the MCM sale practically snatched out of my hand before I could get hold of her box by a reseller, but it was going to be for an auction donation anyways. But then I asked for the display doll there, and the volunteer found a box and gave her to me. Then I found another one that was returned from the check out, so I got two of them.
55 is a beauty. The dark tortoiseshell hazel eyes are very different from the light green that seems to be the hazel that my Rebecca and other hazel eyed dolls have. Her hair is magnificent. She's one of the standouts in the MyAG line, IMO and I give her a 10.

I just got #55 today , and named her Evangeline. Her wig is medium thick definitely not as thick as my #24's. It is easy to style and brush and is a good length to make it easy to put into various hairstyles. The wave/curl is not so much that it would interfere with styling and brushing and it will not get as frizzy as Caroline's curls for example. Her hazel eyes are the darkest out of all my hazel eyed dolls (#21, Lanie, Isabelle, Mia) Overall, she is a really cute doll that looks good in many outfits. And I think her hair is easy to manage compared to other dolls with curls or waves to their hair. Here is Evangeline with Isabelle: More pics will be posted in my Album later on.

This is Blakely. I ordered her from AG in July 2013. She was such a popular doll on Instagram at the time and I knew I needed her!

I was able to see a number of my friend's TM dolls so I thought I'd review them. This doll is so striking with her dark hair and hazel eyes. She makes a stunning historical and works well in colonial through 1930's, I think.
