The leggings were a little skimpy on my Mattel dolls. I had to really pull them up and then they just covered their behinds. I didn't even attempt on my PM dolls. Overall though I really like the outfit and am pleased it does not have a U logo on it : - ) The shoes are made of a different kind of material....kinda foam-like. They are cute and fit nicely. The skateboard is sturdy. Forgot to grade it....I give it an A.

Candace: The leggings are not back enough to return. They are low riding : - ) In the photo I included they don't look that bad.....I just really had to tug to get them on Katie Scarlett (#55). I like this outfit the best of everything (besides #55) that I ordered this time. I have noticed that the raspberry pink being used is the same on the new releases which makes it nice to mix and match. I have included a photo of Katie Scarlett with the hat from Everyday Accessories. It has the U logo : - ( but it does match this outfit. The only logos on this outfit are AmericanGirl ones and I think they were done with taste.
When I saw this set at the store I was surprised at how saturated & bright the colors are. The green top is really really intensely bright green, and the sneakers likewise turquoise. Wow. (Not neon though; the shoes reminded me of "electric blue" if you're familiar with the Crayola marker color).
This, along with the price tag of $38 including a skateboard I didn't want and didn't think I could resell alone, was enough to discourage me from buying the set despite the mix-and-match potential and the adorable shorts.

I disliked the leggings and skateboard, so both went on the sales block. I was just thrilled to see a very very green shirt and cool teal and purple tennis shoes. The outfit has a ton of mix and match potential
Betsy got to choose one outfit for her Cristina (#57) when we were at the Chicago store last fall, and this is the one she picked. Cristina wears it quite often and I love how the bright colors look on her (plus, it's a perfect match for the raspberry glasses). The shorts-over-leggings and the 3/4 length sleeves on the argyle tee are very fashion forward (says the woman currently wearing a dress made from a pattern dated 1955). Despite the leggings being berry pink, I don't think this is a 'girly' outfit at all, it's probably the most tomboy-appropriate out of the current MyAG offerings. (Which is why I was surprised my girly-girl wanted it!) Lots of mix-and-match potential, plus the skateboard has great play value - it actually helps the dolls stay upright for display scenes!

I bought this set for my neice for her birthday. She loves it! She has been going with a friend to a skate park so it was totally her. It does have many possibilities for mix and match outfits. The only issue we had was keeping the doll on the skateboard. We couldnt get the dolls fit situated right without the dolls weight tipping the board over. Outfit gets an A an dthe skayeboard gets a B for being kind of plain. Use of skateboard gets a C.

my daughter just bought this with her birthday money. I thought it was a little pricey (we got it at AGplace) and it was sale on the website. Anyways, she wanted it and is very happy.
The skateboard is well made and looks like her real skateboard with the grip tape on it.
The outfit has 3 pieces (green shirt, pink leggings and grey shorts). The colors are really bright and it looks cute on. The doll that my daughter bought this for however is a chubbier PM doll and the shorts and leggings could fit her a bit better in the 'coverage' department..
I love the skate sneakers too.
The helmet and pads aren't included in this set but we have them from the inline skate set.
There is an elastic strap on the board to hold your doll on. We have had better luck with balancing when we only put one foot under the strap.
