Emily wears these pajamas in the book Brave Emily. She also wears them in the movie Molly: An American Girl on the Home Front. Released in 2006, retired in 2013.Just before "lights out," dress Emily in her warm flannel pajama pants and lace-trimmed top. Includes trading cards.Emily's pajamas are made from a pretty pink and blue floral print on a white background. The PJ top buttons up with five cute buttons, and the collar is edged in lace. Matching lace is found around the cuffs, too. The pajama bottoms are just like Molly's only they match Emily's pajama top (obviously). Overall, these pajamas look to be well-made...not to mention cute. They're soft and cozy, and I'm so glad I got them for Emily. Grade: A

These are my favorite AG pajamas I have. The material is very soft and snuggly and it looks great on Emily. The top closes with little buttons and real buttonholes. These can be slightly frustrating to button at times, but I had my little sister try them and she had no trouble at all, so I probably just have big fingers. : I really appreciate that they went for buttons on this, though. They make the whole thing much more realistic. The bottom has an elastic waistband. Little lace edging trims the sleeve cuffs. Also a pretty good shot of the fabric pattern. From the back. And the side. The top flares out quite a bit. A closeup of the collar and lace. I am definitely impressed with this set and think it's one of AG's better offerings. It's especially adorable paired with Emily's robe and slippers. ETA Grade: A

I love these pajamas. The working button detail is great, the flannel is soft, and the print on the material is to scale. It's refreshing to have an outfit without the weird line down the back from velcro. Overall, these are some of the best pajamas American Girl offers. Grade: A

I'm not really a pajama person myself, though I do love pajamas for dolls, but even I want a pair like this. They're so soft and they really seem to make whichever doll is wearing them seem more huggable. I also have to agree with the wave of love for the functional buttons as opposed to velcro. I shouldn't have doubted anyone who said these were worth the price tag. They are! Definitely a solid A. So solid an A that I bought a second pair. Bonus points for how cute they are on Ruthie:

A+++++++
I could not recommend this enough! It looks great as a modern set, and for Emily. Looks great on any doll, too.
It's the highest quality and softest and in my opinion cutest AG pajamas as well. The only problem at least with my set is that the buttons seem dangerously loose sometimes. I'm always afraid one might pop off as I'm buttoning up a doll.

These PJs are darling, definitely one of the cutest things AG makes, and very well made to boot. I don't have Emily, but the PJs are great for modern dolls as well! I love that they button up instead of use Velcro, and the lace is adorable. Usually I think lace looks tacky. My buttons show no signs of wanting to fall off. If you have Emily or a modern doll, you should get these jammies!

Super, super cute; extremly cuddly. These fit Mattel dolls very well. I haven't tried them on Felicity or Josefina, so not sure about fit on PC girls. These are my favorite PJ's I own. The quality is excellent and, like the others, I love that they button down the front rather than velcro. I wish they had these in my size . The only issue I see with these is that the buttons could be difficult for young children and those with larger/stiffer fingers. A for an excellent set of pajamas

Am I ever glad that I decided to buy these! I couldn't be any happier with the quality of these pajamas. They are perfect in every way- soft, detailed, and adorable. Well worth the $24 that I paid for them! They look lovely on my new Kit: DSC05038 by sharayahlynn, on Flickr

I have a long history with these pajamas. I first got them from a friend in around 2009 or 2010. Sometime in 2011, I gave them away, and I have regretted it ever since. I had been planning to buy them with Molly and Emily's retirement, and the current AG seasonal sale was the perfect opportunity! I was able to get these pajamas with shipping for less than they would be not on sale, not including shipping. And let me just say, I am so glad I decided to buy them again, because they are just as adorable as I remembered! They look so adorable with Emily's Robe & Slippers. The material is firm, but very soft. It's not a nice or thick as human pajamas, but it's fine for a doll. I love the detail of the lace on the collar and the sleeves. The slightly gathering on the front of the shirt is also adorable. And I really appreciate how AG has continued to use buttons instead of velcro! They work great for my modern dolls, and are totally something I would have worn when I was a little younger. Overall, I give these slippers a A. They would get an A+ if the slippers came with the outfit. (Fortunately I already owned the slippers.) A couple photos on Callie (Mia):

A friend has these and now I think I will need them as well. These pajamas are just darling. The print is so sweet and the fact they have working button is a real plus. The have a timeless look to them and really would work for any doll from kit's era through present day. they are just sweet.
