My SIL in law and I had a Cécile & Marie-Grace comparison 10 days ago. I noticed that not only are the molds a little different but so are the skin tones. I hope the pictures show the differences. I didn't really pay any attention to the hair but after looking at the pictures there is some difference but not much. SIL's Cécile is in the floral green dress, mine is in the green/brown dress.

Cécile is such a beauty! I have quite a few dolls, and not all of them make me gasp when I lift the box lid the way Cécile did. I love the auburn highlights in her hair combined with the pretty hazel eyes. I love her meet dress and I'm thankful that it's not the cheap, nasty feeling material of Felicity Traveling and Christmas gowns. I'd buy the outfit separately if it wasn't her meet. When I saw Sonali at AGPLA and when I saw C&M-G at B&N while they were having the drawing, the Sonali mold was cute but it didn't do too much for me... somehow on my Cécile, it's just lovely and perfect. She seems to get prettier every time I look at her. So glad I got her! Definite A+! Skin tone comparison with PM Addy and #26. In person, I'd say she's between the two. Curl comparison with #26. Granted this isn't the best pic because Ashley's hair had been in pigtails and I forgot to fix it, but you can see the curls are a bit different. Cécile's are a bit longer and are nice even sausage curls. Ashley's are a bit shorter and more like corkscrew curls. They're not as uniform.

Today for my birthday I received Cécile and her accessories. She is breath-taking beautiful, but....I was disappointed with the fabric in her meet dress. The satin fabric seemed too "wimpy" for the heavy velvet trim in her skirt. I know that can be solved with the crinoline set that AG sells, but can't help thinking that the quality of the satin fabric is lacking. Does anyone else have issues with this fabric?

I threw Cécile's hair ito two ponys just now. Just my opinion, but she is as cute as a whole PACK of buttons. (She's naked under that raincoat, eh heh heh.) And for general spammage purposes, here's Cécile as a Regency girl:

Cécile is so gorgeous, and I just love her hair. I received mine from my grandma just after C & MG were released, in September 2011. I give the doll and outfit an A+. 040 by Livducks, on Flickr

My Special Offer Cécile arrived and she herself is absolutely gorgeous! Her hair seems shorter and less full than I expected but still very pretty. I have two issues with her: her legs are extremely floppy (that shouldn't happen with a brand new doll!) and her meet dress just sort of hangs off of her because she is the thinnest doll I have ever seen...even thinner than my MG. (I have an AG Molly and McKenna for comparison and they are slim but not skinny!!!!!). The pleats on my Cécile's bodice are not quite right either. Otherwise, she is gorgeous and her accessories are amazing.

My Cécile was also Special Offer. I was on the fence about getting her before I heard about the sale, but I am so, so glad I did! This is a truly lovely doll! The sausage curls, the hazel decal eyes--and the Sonali mold suits her very well. Mine has a sewn part, but that's hardly worth fussing about when you get such a beauty for that incredible SALE PRICE~ Her dress is the quality level I expected, and is absolutely gorgeous and flawless in every way. It doesn't hurt that I'm a sucker for just about every shade of blue. The black velvet accents and ribbon roses add just the right amount of detail without looking weird, and those darling little pantalettes peeking out at the bottom bring the whole ensemble that sweet schoolgirl charm. The boots are the usual faux, but well-done. This is PC-level attention to detail here, folks. Lovely doll, lovely outfit. I'd recommend Cécile to anyone (although, she really does look much better with her accessories and crinoline). A+ I love her meet dress and I'm thankful that it's not the cheap, nasty feeling material of Felicity Traveling and Christmas gowns. Did Felicity's Christmas gown change during the Mattel switchover? Because I have a PM gown and find it quite nice. Granted, it's showing its age (missing cap, necklace, and pearl stomacher, ribbon has mostly faded to purple), but the fabric quality is certainly worlds better than the Marie-Grace meet! I've heard this complaint a lot since I joined, and it just doesn't seem to jive with my experience.
