I adore Argos! He is squeezably soft and fun to cuddle. I love how large he is, he's very realistic proportion-wise to Marie-Grace. He'll need to be fluffed when he's first taken out of the box, as his hair gets flattened. A+, my favorite AG pet ever
I honestly didn't expect him to be that big. When he came in a rather large box, I was asking myself what I had ordered that was this big. Give him a good brushing (I use a build a bear brush) and he's ready to explore with Marie Grace.

I was lucky andbought him at the 25% off time, so it was an easier pill to swallow and then my sister bought him and the parrot from me to give to my daughter for Christmas Hes cute and my daughter loves that he is "nice and hairy!"
I paid full price for Argos, and he's my daughters' favorite pet. He's big and cuddly, and so cute. I'm very glad we purchased him back in Aug. during the launch. I tend to buy the animals, usually from B&N. I did find a couple of Coconuts at the thrift store once. Argos is the best imo.
Argos is so cute! He is much bigger than some of the other animals. I bought him for my daughter during the 25% off sale but would have paid full price for him.
My DD loves all the AG animals and she also loves her MG, so Argos was a no brainer for her. I also think the animals are way over priced, so DD bought Argos, Nutmeg, Coconut, Talto, etc with her own money.
Argos is really cute and is a unique stuffed animal. I don't think you could find one like him for less and I wouldn't know where to look. I do think he is an essential part of MG's world.
I have Argos and in general I like him but the hair around his mouth and snout is really all over the place. I had to "groom" him a little and cut some of it back. I wish his hind legs could bend like McKenna's Cooper.
The markup on that dog is probably 100x cost. Seriously, that's just CRAZY! That said, I bought him during the 25% off sale. ::blush:: We're big dog lovers in our house and he's pretty central to MG's life. He's really just a plush animal - he's not even posable or anything. He is larger than the standard AG pets, though.
He is DD's favorite AG pet. He is HUGE,quite a bit bigger than Sprocket. I agree the price tag is a little excessive but I don't think you would regret bringing him home.
We bought Argos during the 25% off sale too. I felt the price was high even though is so much bigger than other animals currently available. My DD loves Argos and thinks he is really cute. If you aren't sure or in any hurry, I am sure that Argos will start showing up used on the secondary market. I was lucky to find a Marie-Grace doll w/Argos for half of what it costs from AG. Keep your eyes open. You never know when a good deal is going to land in your lap.
I like him best out of all the dogs, because he's not a paperweight and he's a good size (not tiny, like Bennett & Yank.) His price is way too high, I think, but I bought him when the C&MG collection was 25% off so it's all good.

Lol, I was just about to say he's awesome because he isn't a paperweight. lol I also got him 25% off... which was awesome. He is really cute, and really big. I don't have a lot of pets but I do have Jip (Sam's) and Grace (Kit's). He is the biggest out of all of them and has a lot of personality.

Oh yes, we love Argos here...he is a great cuddly stuffed dog. Of course my very favorite pet is Grace, then Cooper (we have 3 of him) and growing in leaps and bounds in the love department is Toasty, (yep, a paperweight but still soft and cuddly) I just got her and "love" her to pieces (I see more Toasty's in my future ).

We have Argos as well - also bought at 25% off. He is cute and cuddly, but my daughter does not play with him as much as the smaller animals. I think he is different enough that he gets left out of play. Of course my daughter is 5 1/2, so that may be a factor. Regardless of how often he is played with, my daughter loves the dogs and cats and he was a must have when she saw him in the catalogue.
Love-love Argos, have to have him even for 30.. I will just have to save extra for him. Add some long hair to him and he will be just like our bearded collie Wesley:)

I have Argos too! I loved him when I first saw him. IMO, he is well worth the money. He is a big dog and handsome too. I love the stuffed dogs that AG has, not the paperweight kind. He is soft and cuddly like others have written about him. I would go ahead and buy him. If you find that you don't like him, you can always return him or sell him on eBay if you like. He is my favorite dog!
As I slowly add to my NOLA collection (one collection I plan on getting most of the pieces), I added Argos recently. Got him for just under $20 on eBay.
This is my second AG pet. For some reason, I was thinking that he would be just about an inch taller, but he is still cute regardless. I need to fluff up his fur, but I will work on that later. (Alex (fka Marie-Grace) is currently in her modern persona, so Argos isn't part of the scenery).
Argos is cute, but I definitely would not pay $28 for him. Regardless Alex is happy to have Argos around.
Grade: B (for the price)
