I love this new holiday dress. It has a velour bodice with silver embroidery just below the neckline, with snag-prone velcro at the back. There is a taffeta lining under the three tiers of ruffled mesh.
The shoes are made of same velour material with silver embroidery, with red vinyl soles.
The headband has pearl-like bead embellishments, sewn onto a weird-looking ruffled net, then glued on to the headband. It also has a ginormous tag, which I promptly snipped off.
Sorry, I don't have the Holiday Accessories. I might buy them if they go on sale.
Overall, I think this is a really pretty outfit. The material isn't scrimped at all. It would be nice if the price was a bit lower though. I would give this outfit an A.
I had the opportunity to see this dress at the store and compare the two holiday outfits. I wasn't prepared to like this one but I was really surprised at how nice it is and how nicely made it is. I really like this dress. Even though it is another red holiday dress, it is one that I wouldn't pass up.

I totally agree with askmkids. I saw this dress at AGPNY two days ago and I fell in love with it. Very well made and beautiful color. I was not prepared to purchase it then as it was not in the budget, but I am planning to get it next payday.

The red holiday dresses are always amazing. I put this dress on Emma, my #39, to try it out and now I don't want to take it off. But I took it off and it's put away until December The dress is gorgeous, the shoes match it, the tights aren't difficult to use and the headband's pretty (once you cut the tag off). Get it!

The velvet part is soft and stretchy and the dress is very nicely made. The shoes are cute and fit well. the headband decorations are a little odd, but it looks good with the rest of the outfit. The tights ane pretty thick.
I'm a sucker for red holiday dresses. This one does not disappoint. It even comes with tights, unlike many of AG's holiday offerings in the last two years! Now if only AG would make the headbands big enough to adequately fit on doll heads....
