Dang, I've had this for almost a year and still haven't done a review. Time to rectify.
Conflict of interest note: I love skiing. Love. I may be slightly biased because of that, but I think this is one of the best accessory sets ever made. It's cute, realistic, and even somewhat functional. It gets an A.
The bits are as follows:
Boots! These boots are the best. They open like real ski boots to get their feet into them, and then velcro shut. I've heard various people have had trouble with the boots, but my pair are pretty sturdy and I don't worry about them at all.
Skis! Cute. I like the pattern on the top of the skis. They're also pretty sturdy. Not overly heavy, but definitely not flimsy. The ski boots snap into the attachments pretty securely. There's definitely a front and a back (the back, I think, is the bit that slides to make enough room), so if they're not going in, turn the ski around.
Poles! One of the few sporting things where a handle going over the fingers makes sense. They seem a bit short in scale, but maybe that's because the doll cant turn her wrist. In any case, they do nicely for posing, if not functioning.
Helmet! OMG, adorable. It's sturdy and fits well, though if the doll has a ponytail or anything else that gathers her hair at the back of her head it tends to push the helmet forward into her eyes. Just keep any bulkiness at the nape of her neck. It latches under the chin with a bit of elastic and a clasp and stays on nicely. The goggles are too cute. They can come down over their eyes or rest on the helmet, and they're secured in the back with a loop that snaps to take them off.
Action shots! This is what you really wanted to see, right?
