McKenna dresses for warmth on school days. This outfit features: A cowl-neck, cable-knit sweater with ribbing at the waist Lavender leggings layered underneath An embroidered denim skirt, featuring a frayed edge and starry ribbon graphic A pair of turquoise hair clips Two-tone shoes to add pizzazz, head to toe Plus, girls can use the included hairstyle card to create McKenna's stylish double-twist 'do
The sweater is a deep purple. It is very soft and seems to be amazing quality, unfortunately the velcro is the old-fashioned snagging kind so I am worried that the sweater may develop pulls. It fits very nicely and is fitted at the waist. The sleeves are 3/4 length.
The leggings are a nice thick material but the color is different than the traditional light purple AG has used recently. It is a different shade than the current meet outfit. The leggings go to just below the knee/ upper calf.
The denim skirt is gorgeous and has Mckenna's ribbon graphic in the deep purple of the sweater. I had a hard time getting the skirt on and I tried it on my MyAG #4 who is one of my smaller dolls. I doubt this skirt would fit a PC doll! And I think it will be frustrating for little kids. The skirt has no velcro , it is a pull on. It is cute and seems sturdy.
The shoes....this is where the outfit falls apart. The shoes are turquoise with lavender detailing. They don't seem to really match the outfit at all. I keep wondering if there was a mistake and the meet shoes go to this outfit and these shoes belong to the meet outfit...but alas no. So I opted to use the current MyAG meet shoes. These also don't match as the purple is not the exact same shade but they do seem to look less alarming then turquoise shoes with a purple and grey outfit.
Overall the outfit is adorable and the quality is excellent so I give it a B+ If you like the shoes then bump it to an A. I don't appreciate the cheap velcro so I can't give it an A+.
I apologize for the lack of pictures but I don't know how to upload to this site.

I purchased this yesterday at AGPNY. I really like it. The sweater is really a beautiful deep purple color. The only thing I don't like is that the leggings/tights are a little short as I plan to pair this with the rainy day set that is pictured so often with this outfit. For that I give it an A-.
ETA: I actually think the outfit when paired with the rain set looks better without the leggings.

I am so in love with this outfit! The sweater is amazing and has so much mix and match potential. It looks great on my #49. The leggings are a bit hard to get over the doll's butt and the skirt is a taaaad short. The flat are VERY nice and don't feel cheap at all. I love the hair clips, too. This set is a great value for the cost, especially compared to the price of other outfits recently. A

I bought this outfit for my modern dolls. Thought it was going to go to Charlotte since she is my gymnast but Ruby thought is was more trendy and her style so now it's hers. I really like it overall. The sweater is great but that velcro is tricky. I had to adjust it on Ruby's shoulders for it to look right and I can see a younger girl having a little bit of trouble with it. Once it is on correctly- very cute. The skirt is a little tight to get on but easy to adjust once it is on the waist. Very decent quality of material . The leggings are alright but make this outfit complete I think. The shoes were a little hard for me to get on but look good. The clips are great and can be used for many different outfits. My grade is an A- (the "-" for the minor challenges being put on) Here are some pictures on Ruby (#28) Mod edit to removed deleted image links

I like the school outfit better than I expected to. My sleeves are actually long enough to be long sleeves, and I'm very pleased with that, since that was my only hesitation in the set. Solid A.

I like this so much better than McKenna's Meet outfit.
The leggings have more 'give' in them than the 'meet' ones and don't seem to have the same sort of fail when the doll sits down.
The sweater is lovely, soft and such a gloriously rich colour. The cowl neck sits nicely. I wish AG had used the 'baby' velcro on this one: I can see lots of potential to snag but well, I'll just be careful. The sleeves don't -quite- come down to the wrist on mine. Maybe they will stretch, or if not, guess I can push them up higher (which is how I wear my sweater sleeves mostly, I do hate things flapping around my wrists!).
The waistband on the denim skirt was very, very tight and I had a little difficulty getting the skirt on my McKenna. It's a nice skirt though, and I think it looks great with the sweater and leggings.
I like the set best with the rain boots but don't think it looks bad with the shoes. The lavendar/purple of the leggings and the trim on the shoes go well enough.
Have to give this an A+. This set looks like something a real girl would wear, scaled down for an 18in doll, as opposed to 'doll clothes' that no real person would wear, even if they fit.

I love this sweater. The colar and the collar are different from what AG has offered before. And I like the shoes being two colors an not just purple. AG has done a lot of purple shoes lately. My Elle will be wearing the sweater with white jeans on chilly nights at the beach. What I do not like is the skirt and tights are too short and I had to stand Elle on her head to get the skirt over her hips although she is thin. A snap closing in the back would be nice. I also agree with other comments that the sweater velcro has potential for snagging and I wish it closed with snaps. Having said all that, the outfit is unique and the fabric nice, so I give it an A minus.

This is by far my favorite McKenna outfit! She looks adorable in it, and the colors look amazing together. The sweater is beautiful in both color and style, but I would have preferred the newer velcro so that I wouldn't have to worry about it snagging easily. I adore the leggings. They're very pretty and they fit just right! The skirt is very nice. I like the fabric and the color. It's a bit snug and difficult to pull on, but that may just be because of the leggings. The hair clips are cute, and they hold quite a bit of hair, which surprised me because I have some similar clips for my girls and they don't hold very much hair. (Probably because I bought them at Dollar Tree...that's what I get for buying cheap clips lol.) I absolutely love the shoes! They are so cute and are fairly easy to get on McKenna's feet. I'll give this outfit an A.

I received McK's School Outfit back in July, but I haven't remembered to review (well, I really was just procrastinating ) until lately. Sweater: A+ It's super soft! The knit is also very nice and pretty. Even though the velcro may snag, I haven't had that happen because I'm deathly afraid of screwing any of my AG outfits up (except that Cozy Sweater Outfit...). Skirt: A+ Very adorable, and it works with many other things despite McK's symbol. I love the symbol though, and the purple contrasts nicely with the gray. The skirt has some "fringe" on it and it's a nice touch. It has elastic in the back so it can fit over the chunkiest doll's bum. Be forewarned, it is kind of a tough piece to pull on and off. Leggings: A- Meh. They're your standard leggings. They're really cute, but I think they're pretty boring. Flats: A They're really cute and I think they're fine with the outfit (though I'm with everyone else who wishes they'd switched the meet shoes with these). Hair clips and style card: A+ I used the clips on Julie since she's my only straight, long haired doll. They work even though her hair is really slippery, and they stayed in really well! The style card has clear directions, and the cards are kind of making me wish I did have a McKenna. This is the only McKenna outfit I really liked. McKenna herself was great, but her collection was too matchy-matchy gymnastic themed in my opinion. What 10 year old has a wardrobe full of the same three colors?!?! The sweater is my favorite part. It's very soft and cozy, and pretty much everything a sweater should be. The skirt is cute. I love how the purple of McKenna's symbol goes with the grey of the skirt. It's a little tight on my dolls, though. The leggings are average. Nothing special. It does go better with McKenna's meet dress than McKenna's meet leggings IMO. The clips are easy to put in the doll's hair, unlike Chrissa's clips from her Sundress and Kit's meet clip. They also go good with Kenna's meet. The shoes are adorable, but they don't have the texture on the bottom unlike McKenna's meet shoes which I really like. I'm giving this outfit an A; it would be an A+ if the skirt wasn't so tight on the dolls.

I'm going to start off by saying that I do not like how AG styles this outfit on the dolls for the official images. The combination of 3/4 length sleeves on the sweater, mini skirt, and calf-length leggings give the appearance of a girl wearing clothes several sizes too small. Thankfully, that is not the case in real life (IRL).
The sweater is a nice deep shade of purple and is very plush. The sleeves can be pulled down to the doll's wrist to make it standard length, easypeasy. Unlike AG, I prefer the cowl neck to be crushed down so that I looks loose and natural rather than so rigid and structured standing straight up. It velcros in the back but it is not the snag-free kind.
The skirt is nice. It is short but I don't seem to mind as my dolls' characters are older than AG canon. I appreciate that the emblem is embroidered. AG could have cheaped out and given us an iron-on.
The leggings are very standard. It would have been nice if they hit the ankle or were stirrups. The shoes are fine, but I like to pair the outfit with a good pair of boots. The 2 hairclips are an added bonus.
A.

I bought this outfit specifically for my Marie Grace who is modern, and it makes her eyes really stand out. It is one of my favorite modern outfits that AG released this year. McKenna's rain boots would have looked so nice with this, but I did not get them. I like the outfit with boots; the shoes are nothing special and not what I'd expect to see on a girl this age with this outfit.
The neck of the sweater does take some playing with, but does work well. Love the skirt, and the leggings are what girls are wearing these days. The pieces have some very good mix and match possibilites. So I give the outfit an A-, with the minus due to the lack luster shoes.
