McKenna I think this is the best American Girl doll for younger girls that Mattel has ever produced. Her hair hits that note of being fun to style and so easy to keep looking nice. Her meet outfit is easy to manage. Some Josefina doll molds look slightly unfriendly to me, but McKenna has a bright, open expression. She has a very basic, classic look, with light hair and blue eyes, but it's a classic for a reason and she looks great in any color. The playability of her hair is where she really shines, I think. I preferred Kanani who came before her, but if you have a little girl who loves to style hair, this doll couldn't be more suited to the need. Her hair is soft and smooth. My doll was played with very little, and she looks brand new. I took her out for a quick photoshoot, and to give her back her hair net (borrowed it for Felicity). A+

Mckenna was one of my dream dolls along with Addy. For Christmas 2014 I received her from my parents as a total suprise and I love her. She is my second doll with the Josefina face mold but first with it in light skin, I love her face and her feathered eyebrows, she has very pretty light blue eyes but my favourite thing about her is her hair. I LOVE it, it’s shiny, silky and a beautiful dark blonde colour, I like it having no part as it is a lot better for hairstyling and her wig is super thick. I have one of the older dolls who does not have the little hairs, however I tend to collect the PM dolls so I am used to this and don’t mind it. Her meet outfit is cute, I like the top and the design, the leggings are super cute and mine don’t fall down and her shoes are adorable and I love the studs at the bottom. I give this doll an A++++ she is my favourite girl of the year and one of my all time favourite AGS.

McKenna is a really beautiful doll. As I've said on previous reviews, I'm terrible at actually reviewing the products, but I have no problem with adding photos! You can never have too much McKenna in your life!

I got McKenna in early 2012 after saving up for her. She was my second American Girl. I own two of them now, each one is the different version of McKenna. For those wondering, the wig without vs. with the short hairs is pretty much the same. It really just comes down to preference.
I will say my older McKenna is slightly nicer quality, as the newer version with short hairs had a hospital trip. I thought I would add just in case anyone is curious about the McKenna variant! I’ve also noticed McKenna has really pretty face paint and her wig is great for styling due to the no part and length. She’s a very beautiful and low maintenance doll. If you’re considering her, I say go for it.
