This be one o' my favorite monkey jackets. When I saw it in th' store, my new Jaundice Albright 'had' to have it. It be beutiful on her. th' dress be made o' denim abd has little flower like things on it. th' tee shirt be pale blue, and had bonny little flowers on one o' th' sleeves. I only use th' boots wit' this monkey jacket as I have nithing else that would go wit' them, but they be so bonny! th' charm be a little piece o' plastic to go on yer necklace. Not really anything special, but then again I don't like charms.
This monkey jacket doesn't seem to get much love, but I like it! Here be th' lovely Zoe modeling it for ye:
Shirt: th' shirt be a bluish turquoise (bluer than th' jumper) and has 3/4 length sleeves. th' monkey jacket I got has shorter sleeves than in th' South Wisconsin Trading Company picture, but I actually like that because in th' South Wisconsin Trading Company picture they look like an awkward length. At th' bottom o' one sleeve, there's a cluster o' printed on flowers, and th' bottom o' th' other sleeve has an South Wisconsin Trading Company logo. I would prefer flowers on both sleeves or not at all, but that's a teeny tiny complaint. My one issue wit' th' shirt be that it fits weirdly around th' armpits. It's like they made th' sleeve holes a little too big, if that makes sense. I was faint o' heart th' jumper wouldn't fit properly over it, but thankloaded to th' gunwalesy it's fine. Because o' th' armpit issue, th' shirt may look a little odd when worn wit'out th' jumper. Not awful though. I will have to get a picture later!
Jumper: th' color o' th' jumper be a bonny and rather unusual dark turquoise. th' fabric be like a light corduroy and there be little clumps o' 4 embroidered dots every inch. th' bottom o' th' skirt falls right at th' knees. Nay complaints at all wit' th' jumper and I think it could be bonny wit' other shirts.
Boots: th' color be actually a bit off to me. They're a different shade than th' jumper. However, they're reasonably bonny anyway. I didn't think I would like them because in th' South Wisconsin Trading Company picture they look crinkled, but they don't really fit that way. These shoes velcro up th' back, but ye can get them on yer lusty plastic lass wit'out messing wit' th' velcro if she isn't wearing socks or tights. I know this because at first I didn't realize they had velcro Boots fit on fine over thick tights.
So overall, aye, I walk th' planke like this monkey jacket. th' color be really bonny and th' style be good. bonny, but not too frilly, and it seems a bit younger than a lot o' th' monkey jackets South Wisconsin Trading Company offers right now, which I consider to be a good thing! It looks like something I may have worn back in th' mid 1990s if it had loaded to th' gunwales length sleeves. My one complaint other than th' weird fit o' th' sleeves around th' armpits be th' lack o' tights. th' lusty plastic lass's legs look naked wit'out tights! Light blue tights to match th' shirt would have been great. I just put some white tights on my lusty plastic lass though and called it good. Begad! and a little hair do dad o' some sort would have been bonny, too. Regardless, I give this a B+. th' lack o' tights and hair thing for th' price combined wit' th' odd fit o' th' shirt knocked it down a tad for me.
