Kailey's puppy Sandy:
I give it an A-
I recently got Kailey and her things from ebay. I give the doggy an A- because when I forgot her in the car, she got a defect from the cold and it took 12 hours for her to bark again. Plus when the batteries die, i'm pretty sure you can't replace them. I also like the fact that you can pose her and bend her legs!

I like Sandy. She's well made and very durable, although quite large. It is hard to make her bark and it seems like we spend a lot of time pushing on her paw before she will make a sound. Her batteries are replaceable....you just have to perform 'surgery' on her to get out her battery box. See THIS THREAD for step-by-step instructions. What I don't like about her is...where in the book is she? I only remember one time when Kailey went to the beach and SOMEONE was there with a dog. It wasn't her dog and the name of that dog was not ever mentioned. Oh well, AG made her, I bought her and I'll give her a B+ for cuteness, durability and faithful companionship. Every doll needs a pet or doll and this is Kailey's. ETA: picture of Sandy

Awww, who cares if Sandy was in the book or not? I just got her MIB from ebay and she's definitely the best dog, aside from Kaya's, that AG has ever made -- in my not so humble opinion! I love that she's so posable and intelligent looking. I love the freckles on her muzzle. And she's a great size. If AG just made all the OTHER pets to the correct scale, Sandy would be a nice medium sized dog. I'm afraid I can't resist giving her to Demelza, who has flaming red hair that stands on end, and keep Sandy's original name! Which is a first for me, actually. I realize the batteries may cause Sandy to become a silent barker eventually so instead of an A+ I'll just give her an A!

I like Sandy. She is super cute and I don't even have Kailey, I just wanted a non-Coconut dog for the girls. I give her an A- because when I accidentally make her bark, like when something falls on her, it can annoy me to death. Oh well.

Need more photos of Sandy here so I grabbed a couple from a photostory my daughter did. She got a kick out of the fact that Sandy has nothing to do with Kailey's story and refers to him (ours is a boy) as 'the random dog.' He's a high-quality random dog, at any rate, so we like him plenty. We have so many plushies that it was nice to have a substantial pet for Kailey. Ours has been debarked, which of course I don't recommend for your real canines but it's better for Sandy because Sandy = loud dog. He gets a B+ for being random and loud, but his general adorable dogginess makes up for that.

I love my little Sandy! For a golden retriever, she is the perfect size! The batteries died when i got her from my cousin, so I could never here it bark. I also like the fact that that is is posable.

Sandy is cute, and I think much better than the tiny, odd MyAG pets currently available. The dog looks like, well, a DOG. Nothing else to say, but love the pose-ability.

I don't have many *real* AG things, but I do have Sandy. I love that she is't totally hard-bodied, you can pose her, and haven't had an isue with her not barking. I bought her used (from CL) and I can hardly wait to bring her out and let my daughter know she *exists*

I got Sandy in a trade with another collector. I love how poseable she is! I couldn't find any videos of her bark (and the sound clip is defunct on an archived webpage for the original product page), so I did a quick surgery and replaced the batteries in mine. http://instagr.am/p/B_1HCPAFaHe Here's a video on my instagram of her bark. The second image is a time lapse of using a ladder stitch to sew her up with no stitches showing!

A friend has her and I think she is really cute. It's nice that AG made her so that she can bark and that makes her unique among AG pets.
