I got my Marisol Christmas '05 from my grandmother. She was my second doll. I got Kirsten in '96, so huge gap there. I had always loved Kirsten to bits, and couldn't imagine getting another. When I saw Marisol, I instantly fell in love with her. Getting her is what sparked my interest in collecting, which I have been doing passionately ever since. Marisol is simply a gorgeous doll. The Josefina mold works beautifully with her features, and the medium skin tone with brown hair is quite striking. Although pictures don't quite do her justice, here is a photo of mine: Overall Grade: A+

Does anyone have Marisol and JLY #28 and have pictures of them together? They seem really similar except for their hair. My Adelaide is a JLY #28 and I got her back in 06 for the sole reason that she looked a lot like Marisol who I had really wanted but was never able to get. There's a photo of them together in the #28 Review thread HERE

Marisol is my first AG doll. I have only had her a bit over a year. Of course she came from eBay. I just love her! I don't have any of her original AG clothes but she looks good in anything! Marisol & her 1st AG Ruthie!
