White blouse, purple jumper with pleated cheerleader style skirt, saddle shoes and headband. for $20. The material is satiny like Molly's Miss Victory Costume and the saddle shoes are really well made. I have hard good things about this outfit. A+
I love my American girls and my rabbits
Ag's: Kaya, Felicity, Lissie, Samantha, Sammy, Nellie, Molly, Kailey, Marisol, Jess, Nicki, Mia, Chrissa, Sonali, Cher, Lily, Hannah, Eleanore, and Charlie
Rabbits: too many to name!
This outfit consits of a one piece jumper/blouse dress, shorts, a headband, saddle shoes, and white socks.
I love the color on the outfit, and I think it's very cute. I don't like the it's all one piece. I wish the blouse was separate because I think it would make a good mix 'n' match piece. Since it is supposed to be a performance costume, I can forgive this problem. However, it being an obvious costume makes it less versatile. The material is an artificial satiny material. It's pretty soft to the touch, but it snags on the velcro very easily, even though it's the less-snag kind of velcro.
I love the shoes. They are very well made and go with so many other outfits. The socks are generic and I have another pair of them that I believe came with the white tennies and socks set.
The headband is pretty with sewn-on rhinestones. It is a very small fit, but I've had this outfit for a few years and the headband has gotten easier to get on over time. I think AG overall has not mastered the doll headband.
I'm not sure why I got this, but it's in great condition and at only $10 off craigslist I thought it would serve some purpose in my doll world. Eventually.
It's pretty cute and made of satin-y material. While nice, this means one has to take care with the velcro on the blouse and jumper. The shorts underneath are adorable and really add authenticity to it being a dance outfit. The headband, while pretty, is so tight on my dolls' heads. I've had to stretch it out a little, making sure not to go too far or snap it.
(I don't have the shoes as the seller did not have them to include)
I was delighted to finally pick up this in an eBay lot last Christmas for my dance-obsessed Molly. I only got the dress, but that was enough to make Molly a very happy little jitterbugger! It's soft and silky and feels like a real dance costume. I too wish it was in two separate pieces - the blouse would go great with other fancy skirts and pants - but other than that, this is utterly adorable for dancers or Molly and Emily if you can find it.
This is the 'AG Revue' Purple and White Jitterbug Dance' set. EVERY MOLLY DOLL SHOULD HAVE THIS SET ... or at least I think so...
When the AGPLA first opened they had a stage with live performances. Unfortunately the stage closed later on. This was one of the costumes used there. And, then offered for sale as an exclusive for the AG dolls
DRESS and TAP PANTS: The set included a Purple and White satin Jumper set. The skirt has box pleats, with purple on top and the white as the inset. The blouse is white with a Burgundy red piping on the Peter Pan collar. This is a one-piece set, that is, it appears to be 2 pieces. There is piping along the edge of the puffy white short sleeves as well. There are two Red Star buttons on the jumper straps. The Tap Pants are the same purple satin, and are meant to go over the under ware, this way you never see panties when you dance. SHOES AND SOCKS: The set came with a pair of white bobby socks. This included Black and White Saddle shoes for dancing the Jitterbug. These are the best of the 'Saddle shoes' AG made. The navy/white and the red/white were poorly made. These are really solid and well made, the best! HEADBAND: And a matching Burgundy Red headband, set with small silver stars and 'diamond' rhinestones. It is wonderfully made. BOX; The Box was wonderful, it was all Burgundy with a Picture of the doll wearing the outfit.
I give this set an overall A+ Originally it was $20.00 and only available at the AGPC, AGPNY and AGPLA. Note: once I download my camera I will post pics!
