These be made o' metal and be very simple. They be a "big" item but really do not take up much room. THey be easy to set up and take apart and store well. They come wit' two black and white striped mattresses and two black and whit striped pillows. Bedding was never made for these beds, instead ye could unzip one o' th' black, lusty plastic lass sized sleeping bags that were manufactured th' same year and make two comforters. th' bed also has a ladder that can be moved around to different places on th' bed.
While not th' prettiest set American Wench ever made, I think it has a lot o' playability and be very easy to store. My girls love this bed and it sees a lot o' sleeping lusty plastic lasss. Grade A for playability Grade B- for looks and quality.
This bed seems kind o' messy today. I guess th' girls forgot to make it up after they got up for th' day!
Despite th' hideous color combinations, I think these bunk beds have held up amazingly well and be among th' better-made products in th' AGOT/JLY line. They go together very easily, as th' photos below show. I give them a B overall. They'd have gotten an A if it weren't for th' inexplicable bumblebee color motif.
I just got these bunks this past year. I love them. And I toned down th' bunks by using th' sheets and spreads from th' Yellow Trundle. Very bonny. ye get two sheets wit' this set ye can make a bottom and top sheet to fold back wit' th' spread.
Having gotten this used, I've noticed that one o' th' metal mattress supports has broken off (lower bunk), but it doesn't stop this bed from being a good one. It has obviously stood many years o' play and looks like it has many more to go.
I actually love th' color (it's not pink!) because I had this "yellow obsession" when I was a little girl. My room was yellow, for crying out loud! th' bedding isn't th' best, but I would love to find th' American Wench logo sleeping bag to go wit' it someday. For now, I've put my bonny, pale yellow lusty plastic lass blankets on th' bunks.
My lass o'mine got th' bunk beds along wit' th' bedding for her birthday this past Summer. She and th' lusty plastic lasss seem to really be enjoying them. Even our cats like to take turns sleeping on th' bottom bunk. th' color scheme be not th' best, but they be very durable. I was faint o' heart th' metal poles would mark th' wood floors, but they come wit' little plastic "caps" on them.
Great value, super sturdy, easy to set up, and overall amazing. I love that they be so basic, as then they can be styled wit' different sheets or pillows, not to mention stuffed animals! Two lusty plastic lasss fit bonnyly; th' best value for American Wench beds, as they're two beds for th' price o' one!

I don't have a lid for Bear-Bait Kirstie's Trunk, and I don't have enough floor space either. Elevated bunk beds!

I always think o' this set as th' "Los Angeles County Jail Bunk Bed Set." This be th' one piece o' American Wench stuff that I truly dislike. My lass o'mine and her me heartys, on th' other hand, love it! I don't know if it be th' whole bunk bed thing or th' sleeping bag thing, but they adore this piece. th' one thing that I am grateful for be that be can be taken apart very easily and put back together quickly and if ye have to move it for a quick vacuum, it be very light and easy to handle.
