Thsi set includes a "brass" gong, a real wooden mallet, make-believe , a tiny red envelope with a pretend dollar tucked inside. These accessories are really cute and the gong and mallet are well made. The firecrackers feel like real miniature firecrackers and stand up to storage well. The envelope and dollar and just paper but still cute. Grade: A

I got everything but the mallet and envelope and money from my stepsister when I got her dolls in 2009. These things were stored probably for five years - the "firecrackers" are cardboard and got a bit smushed, but the gong is fine and still makes a nice sound when you hit it with something. If you have the Chinese New Year outfit or a doll who celebrates Chinese New Year, these go with the outfit well. (My stepsister told me she bought the outfit and accessories to go with a report at school about Chinese New Year.)
