All I have to say is get these while they are on sale for five dollars and before they retire. I had five dollars left before going into the next shipping level so I though "Hey, these look cute, I should go ahead and get them while they are on sale." I am glad I got them, they seem very versatile and will be great for the Tom boy of the family, Ann . I was only disappointed that they didn't come in one of those cute little AG shoe boxes. They look like the ones that you would buy hanging up at the AG place.

Ta da! They're really cute. I don't think of them as tomboyish at all, but more like a nice, multipurpose pair of sneakers. They're just not overly girly like some of the others. --- KERI

These are much cuter in person that on the website. They have clear vinyl on the toes and real tread on the sole. The shoes go on very easily , but are a pain to tie, like all other AG shoes. These look a lot like soemthing I would wear plus they lok liek they would go with a lot of outfits.

I found that I don't really need to tie/untie them, once I get them tied the first time around. I just have to make sure to tug on the tongue of the shoe so that it doesn't get shoved down to the toes when I slip 'em on.
Though, it reminds me, I really wish they made a shoehorn for the dolls. I remember playing with my Pa's shoehorns when I was a kid, I always thought they were hilarious, but they're really useful!

We got these on sale for $4 as well!
The price cannot be beat for a pair of quality doll shoes from AG. These sneakers are well made miniature reproductions of real running shoes. They are fabulous in every way. My only complaint is that the white laces seem a bit too long, but that can be easily remedied. Jess has been wearing the sneaks ever since they arrived.
A+++ especially in light of the sale price

I ended up with two pairs of these (I had someone grab me a pair at the outlet, not knowing mstangeledwebs was sending me a pair as a gift). This actually suits me fine, because they go well with the style of three out of four members of my gang, and will probably make the rounds with a lot of my crew's casual outfits. They're just that versatle.
I didn't have any trouble tying mine, because the shoelaces of mine seem a bit too long, actually. They almost trail on the ground when tied, and if Liz were actually going to walk, I'd fear her stepping on them (she's wearing them currently). As for the vinyl on the front, I think I would have preferred a black or darker gray piece of faux-suede or leather myself. I'm not a big fan of the shiny toes. But overall, they're cute, versatile, and one of the only things that AG makes that looks good on my boy doll. ^_~
A+
