Orienteering Accessories (1998-2001)
Grade: A +
The Good:
Yet another element in one of my favorite AGOT sets. The orienteering accessories continue the theme of quality and authenticity. The little compass really works, and makes a perfect accent to the camping outfit. The unfolding map is not only realistic, but made of a durable material I wish that they made real maps out of! The lamp is a great touch, and while the batteries need to be replaced as a girl I found this went perfectly inside the tent. Finally, the little binoculars are just plain adorable and really bend the way real binoculars do, though I haven't tried looking through them to see if they work.
The bad:
Neon orange and yellow were an unlikely color for binoculars - but since they're a small piece and probably easily lost, I could see the logic.
