Skateboard AccessoriesGrade: B These were meant to go with, obviously, the skateboarding outfit. Unfortunately, while I thought the outfit was adorable I never did get around to buying it before it retired. I did get these on sale on a whim because, hey, who knows, I might have an Avril Lavigne doll, right? Right. At any rate, I like the color - I always was a sucker for pink and orange. The overall design, however, is lackluster. It's cute, but most tricked out boards I see usually have more 'zzas. The quality is good, but not great. The velcro straps for the knee pads and elbow pads are annoying because they don't stick - if you stretch them over a shirt or pants, they come undone about every thirty seconds. Another missing detail is the pads: all of the pads, elbow and knees, are identical. I may just be picky, but growing up I wore elbow and knee pads and there was a big difference in how they looked and how they protected. I feel like the doll looks strange because she's wearing elbow-pads on her knees. The Good: * The color combination is fun. * It's easy to balance the doll on the board. * The helmet fits well and is easy to get on. The Bad: * Velcro comes undone easily. * Pads are boring, generic, and all look alike. * Helmet is boring. More Pictures:
