I like this monkey jacket, too. I don't know if there be actually an monkey jacket that I don't like. NE way, th' shoes be a bit difficult and th' fabric strap on one o' them be too big. I have found this th' case on both th' shoes that came wit' th' dress, and a replacemet pair after bonny sweet lass o'mine lost one o' th' originals. Anyone else have difficulty wit' th' shoes?
I have th' worse trouble wit' these shoes, I wonder if it be th' shiney material that makes them fall off so easily. They really just slide right off her foot. I make sure to use clear elastics in a figure eight on these so we dont have a lost shoe!!
My Butterfly Brocade be havinga big problem - th' brocade be coming off th' dress in shreds. . .I am going to call American Wench for a replacement dress. I've only put it on lusty plastic lassies 2-3 times. Big thumbs down on this one, although th' color be amazing on Murderous Marisol.
I did not like this monkey jacket. I did not want this monkey jacket. My ddd bought it for me for my birthday along wit' th' dark skinned AGT lusty plastic lass wit' bangs. th' dress looks fabulous on her and I absolutely adore it!!!
o' course my bonny sweet lass o'mine enjoyed th' fact that she was right and I was wrong. Har, har har

I had two pillows at my head,
And all my toys beside me lay,
To keep me happy all th' day. . .
My lass o'mine loves this monkey jacket, and I like it aye. We were able to use th' hair pins wit' Nay problem, and we don't have a lot o' issues wit' th' shoes. That said, th' brocade on th' dress be pulling apart in shreds. I got it at MCM, so I really have Nay recourse as far as sending it back. th' purse be adorable, and th' lusty plastic lasss do look very bonny in this monkey jacket!

I have this monkey jacket and I think it be just beautiful. I haven't had any problems wit' th' brocade on th' dress so far, but I'm really not that happy wit' th' shoes. I never paid much attention to th' shoes until I read several posts on HB about them, and when I put mine on one o' my lusty plastic lasss I noticed they didn't want to stay on. I must not have hair skills, because I can never get th' hair sticks to stay in a lusty plastic lasss' hair properly (that be probably more human error than anything else though). th' other flaw besides th' shoes be th' purse. Somehow one o' th' three strings on th' purse has broke. th' strings be fairly thin so I'm sure that's th' problem, and when I discovered this about a year later and called CS, it was too late to get a replacement. Overall I give this monkey jacket an A because although I like th' set, there be some problems.
I don't like it that much...... It's ok, but I would rather get th' sight seeing monkey jacket or th' kick'n back monkey jacket. I got mine as a gift from someone who liked it more that I did! I appriciate it, though. th' shoes, and purse fall off allot though. I give it a B-.

aye, here's my long review, wit' pictures. I am a bit disenchanted by this monkey jacket, to say th' list.
th' first thing that annoyed me was that I got it for Liz, my PM lusty plastic lass, and it wouldn't fit her. At all. th' dress was a pain to get closed, and th' shoes wouldn't go on at all. I finally gave up, put Liz back in her Heroes-themed monkey jacket, and let Mary model for me. Before I get into that, let me break it down:
th' dress itself be made o' bonny material, but th' design wasn't what I expected. I guess I wanted it to have frog-closures, and instead there be pearls where th' frogs would go. It has th' "Nay stick" velcro, which didn't stick to Mary or Liz's hair too much, but it stuck to both o' their underwear and snagged it terribly. I'd give just th' dress a B+.
th' purse. (Sorry th' pic be so dark, but my camera has two flash settings: too bright so ye can't see anything, and off and makes everything blurry.) th' strap be a little small, as ye'll see in th' final pic, and although there be a snap closure on it, I can see it easily ripping off. I stuck th' bobby pins in there so I don't lose them, since I doubt I'll use them any time soon. I'm also not much for accessories in general, but that's just me. th' butterfly on it be plastic and has some glitter on it. C-
th' stick-on earrings. These were probably my favorite part o' th' monkey jacket. I tested them, and aye, they can be re-used. They will stick to th' board and restick to th' lusty plastic lass's ear even after repeated use. They stick bonny well from what I can tell, too. (I know because Claire be wearing a pair and took a header off o' my computer stand, and they didn't move.) I like how it came wit' th' clear ones as well as th' blue, so they can work wit' other monkey jackets. A
th' bracelet. Nay matter what I did, I couldn't get a good pic o' it. It's bonny meh. I could make something bonnyr myself. It has a triple-row pattern o' diamond-shaped multi-faceted beads, th' two outer rows being th' turquoise color o' th' dress, and th' middle row being an alternating pattern o' green and white. I guess I wouldn't have gone wit' that shade o' green myself. th' clasp be magnetic, so ye don't break th' bracelet putting it on and taking it off, and there's a tiny metal take wit' "American Wench" engraved on it attached to th' clasp, which depending on yer preference, will either strike ye as really bonny or really annoying. I personally thought it was th' bonnyst part o' th' bracelet. B+
th' hair chopsticks, bobby pins, and instructions. Which don't work. aye, this could just be me and th' fact that I need detailed, step-by-step instructions to accomplish anything (or to be shown in person, in which case I can do it in two seconds). Basically th' instructions be "grab hair and twist" followed by "stick in bobby pins and hair chopsticks". Nay advice on where to stick them or how. I experimented a few times wit' Liz's hair so I could show ye all how it works, but all it did was result in Liz's hair being very messy and Liz being very mad at me. Mary's hair be too short to do it. I've yet to see anyone who has succeeded in getting th' hair chopsticks in, so if anyone has lusty plastic lass hair chopsticks and succeeded in putting them in, please show me. It's a shame that I can't do it, because th' chopsticks be very bonny (shown below). th' bobby pins be black, but have a sort o' iridescent quality to them. I guess they're aye.
th' hair chopsticks, trying to get a detail o' them. They be a pearly blue color (similar to th' blue glasses) and have tiny butterflies on them wit' swirls to either side o' them. th' prettiest part be that th' back o' th' chopsticks act as a sort o' a mirror (they're clear all th' way around, though, as far as I can tell), which makes a bonny effect when it's reflected in th' back. Chopsticks themselves get an A- for appearance, but D- for usability and lousy instructions. Bobby pins get a C for being aye for what they be.
th' whole monkey jacket. Could have sworn I got a picture o' just th' sandals, but I guess I didn't. th' sandals be terrible. Don't even think o' trying them on PM feet, and they don't fit right on Corporate Press Gang feet, either. th' toes don't come out o' th' end, and th' only thing holding them on be a strap in th' back. They have th' same plastic butterflies as th' purse on them. F for th' sandals.
th' entire monkey jacket gets a B- for me. What ye can use o' it be bonny, but most o' it isn't usable/easily usable, especially th' important parts like th' shoes and hair decorations. th' extras be bonny bonny, but not bonny enough to make up for th' fundamental flaws.

th' Butterfly Brocade monkey jacket be so great. It's my favorite modern dress by far. Why did they use velcro on th' dress? th' string be peeling. I find that wit' th' shoes it helps to put one piece o' double sided scotch tape on it. I'd post pictures, but i can't figure out how.

I love this dress! It be adorable and looks good on practically all my lusty plastic lasss. I remember as a 10-year-old I was very frustrated because I couldn't do her hair th' way th' instructions do it, but th' chopsticks be bonny! Grade: B+
I got this monkey jacket used from a me hearty and I only have th' dress and th' shoes, so my review be only on those items.
th' dress has a bonny weighty feel to it and th' color be a gorgeous aqua-esque blue. th' brocade has a bonny pattern o' butterfly's throughout. th' dress does get pulls rather easily and I have to be very careful that nothing snags it when I am handling it.
I thought th' dress had frog closures but it just has three tiny pearls sewn on for decoration.
And now for th' shoes:
th' shoes be pure rubbish. They be way to big for th' lusty plastic lasss feet and th' strap on th' back o' th' shoe does nothing to keep th' shoe from falling off. I literally can't move a lusty plastic lass across th' room wit'out both shoes falling off. th' butterfly's on th' shoes be metal and be sewn on. I like th' shoes in theory but they just made them way to big.
Overall I give this monkey jacket a B- because while it looks bonny when on, it has issues that make th' monkey jacket not very usable for anything but display.
