This outfit set is so cute and versatile. The headband can go with a lot of outfits- I also like it with the Petals and plaid set. The leotard is cute, even though mine is getting a little pilling on it. The pants are mix and matchable, and the sweater- for months I had it on backwards, until I looked closely at the catalogue, and it looks good both ways. The shoes and legwarmers are nice. There isn't much to say about them, but they are well made, and pretty realistic. I had ballet slippers that were similar when I was a kid. The bag is very cute. I wouldn't use it in real life, but I do like it. It is silvery, but not metallic, and the charms are a good touch. The best part is the wrap skirt. The material is pretty thick, the ribbon and color are lovely, and it stays in place well, and "Sheba Lee" is a cute story from AG magazine. I actually like the little book. Overall, and A for this set. It's worth the price.

WARNING: I am a dancer. I've been dancing for ten years. AG could do everything correctly and I would still yell at them for being unrealistic. No matter how much I rag on this set, I *love* it.
Shoes: AG dolls are ten years of age, not three. The soles of the shoes should be split, like so. (Image of Split-soled ballet shoes)
ETA: will finish review later. Gotta go get dance stuffs! ;D

Gotta go get dance stuffs! ;D I don't agree with the shoes comment. I've been a dancer for 24 years (am 27 years old now) and I have danced semi-professionally. Ballet shoes are a personal choice, I know many semi and professional dancers who dances with troupes and companies who wear full-soled ballet slippers. Many also wear split-soles, but depending on the dancer and their preference, full soles are also commonly worn. Its not like a pointe shoe where there is an age boundry nor any written rule that one cannot wear full soles after a certain age. When I taught dance classes, most of jr high aged dancers, who were on pointe as well, wore full soled shoes.

I just purchased this so I got the charm instaed of the book A spaghetti-strap leotard- This is really stretchy and excellent quality fabric A complementary georgette wrap skirt - I love this it fits perfect and it's beautiful fabric terry warm-up pants - Again awesome fabric, feels like real sweat pants A wrap sweater with stretch velvet ribbon trim- I didn't notice the velvet ribbon until I bought it and I have admired this set for years sothat was a nice surprise. I do think the fabric seems a bit cheap and thin. However it wraps really nicely around the doll and looks great on. Knit leg warmers, ballet slippers, and a headband- all dynamite accessories that make the outfit! A silver ballet bag and silver-colored charms to clip onto the bag's strap- this is fantastic and you can fit tonnes inside. I am surprised AG didn't include it in the catalogue pics. Overall I give this outfit an A+

I love how many pieces this comes with! I got it for my #13, Amber, who is my ballet dancer. The headband can be easily mixed and matched with other outfits, and fits well on the doll's head without falling off or ruining a hairdo. The leotard is cute, and fits nicely. The pants are also well-made and can be mixed and matched with different tops. The sweater can also be worn with other outfits, and is adorable. The skirt looks thin in pictures IMO, but is nicely made and the fabric is thick enough. The leggwarmers are realistic and well made. The ballet slippers are nothing special, but are well made and cute anyway. The bag has to be my favorite part, and the one thing out of this outfit that I use the most. It's well made, and the charms make a perfect touch. The book is my favorite out the the couple mini books I have. No wonder this outfit stuck around so long. It's perfect. A+.
