The Good: All of the items are cute, and you get a lot for the money (well, what it cost new, I don't know the ebay prices). The shirt is especially nice if your 10 year old AG wants to start an emo band. The skort is cute, and matches a bunch of other shirts (I especially like it with the Star Flower purple shirt), and the shoes are fun because, other than the color, they look like real bowling shoes. The bowling bag and accessories are nice, might not be played with much if you/your kid's not a bowler, lol. I also love the hair-tyes.
The Bad: Nothing really. I wish it had come with more pins, but that's ok.
Rating: ****, A-

I liked this so much that I bought two sets. Now two dolls can bowl and I have enough pins to make it look more realistic (though a few more would be even better.)

As a bowler, I had to have this outfit. I love purple, so the color is spot on.
The shoes are realistic, mine look just like that only they're in just metalic blue. They actually look like bowling shoes as opposed to the bowling shoe that looks like a sneaker.
A skort? Either this should have been shorts or a skirt, but not a skort. It is not easy to bowl in one of those, I know this from experience. Further more you watch the PBA Queens' tour (when its actually going on, or any of the women's tournaments) the women are all in skirts and pantyhose. Granted, though, at college level most female bowlers wear shorts and pantyhose or pants.
The glove is a niffy idea, and as realistic as it can be for a doll with fused fingers, but the ball does not stay very well on the magnet; it droops down a bit. And why only 3 pins? why? you need 10 pins for a full rack!
The ball bag is cute, and realistic... for 15 years ago! Bags have changed quite a bit; the old fashioned bowling bag that our dads hauled their AMF Angles and Manhattan Rubbers around in are mostly gone. Now, a bowling ball rides around on a wheeled most of the time two ball carrier.
The set shoud have included a towel. A bowler's rag. The Terrible Towel. The Crying Rag. The Bowler's Excuse Towel. Something! Every bowler has a towel, and there's a lot of superstition surrounding them (washing it will bring on more bad luck than you can shake a stick at, so don't go smelling an avid bowler's towel lest you want to know what several years of built up lane oil smells like) so not including one was saddening. Terricloth is cheap, that's what mine is made out of.
The hair ties, I could take 'em or leave 'em. I never liked that style of hair dongles for my hair, as they get tangled in pretty easy. The difference is human hair grows back if you have to cut something out, doll hair does not.
Over all, A+ for it being a bowling outfit. Bowler chicks rock! I should know, I am one. B for accuracy. A for value on original price. A for playability if you're a bowler.

I've got 10 pins but it took four matching outfits. Here are three of the bowling team at the local bowling alley.
