These pajamas caught my eye because they look like the pajamas I like to wear. So I bought them on Ebay. They did not come with the pouch- but I don't mind. They fit great. The elastic looks comfortable. The eyelet is absolutely beautiful- both in texture and color. They look pretty and sturdy. They are a good size for dolls. Easy to use. A+ overall.

These are probably my favorite of all the modern pyjamas! They look like they were modeled after Molly's striped pjs, only made from an orchid-colored eyelet cotton. The shirt is boxy and loose. The sleeves almost cover Beatrice's thumb and the hem comes past her bottom. It has a really divine lapel detail, and a pocket over the left breast! Plus? It fastens with four real buttons. They're awfully tiny, though, and kind of hard to work at first, but once I got the hang of them, they were fine. The pants are loose-fitting, the same fabric, and have an elastic waist. I pulled them up as far as they would go, and they still dragged past the doll's feet, and the legs are nice and wide. There's no trouble getting the doll to sit in these guys. These are totally the best PJs ever! I'm giving them a nice A- score, because the buttons might be too difficult for some fingers. Pictures! I took as detailed photos as I could imagine you might want, to see how the PJs fit and so that you could replicate them, if you like. They seem to be extremely similar to Molly's striped jammies, if not exactly the same. I love them so much! Now, they are cotton, so they're going to wrinkle some, and as you can see, you may need to press the collar lapels so that they lie flat. Also, if you're picky I guess you may feel more comfortable with a camisole under the shirt, if your doll is wearing it to a slumber party or something. As you can see, it fits very loosely! --- KERI

I love these PJs. The color is beautiful and the eyelet fabric is really nice. The shirt is really long and could be a night shirt all by itself. The buttons are super tiny and hard to do and undo every day. The eyelet fabric looks like it would be uncomfortable to wear next to the skin though because it is not lined. It also seems strange that these modern PJs have buttons and Molly's historical PJs velcro, but that's irrelevant to the review. Grade: A+

I love these PJs, they look good on Mattel girls but look even cozier on PM Amanda! I got these in 2002, right before they retired. I'm glad I did!
The PJs - these are made from stiff, thin cotton. I never had a problem with wrinkling, but they do look rumpled which I just think makes them look more comfy. Both the bottoms and shirt are cut very roomily. The pants pull up with elastic and reach a good length down the doll's feet. The pajama top is wide and really buttons up the front! I haven't had too much difficulty with the buttons, I think the thread started coming out of one, maybe. The eyelet pattern on the fabric is simple but adds nice detail, although I do occasionally worry about threads coming unraveled. A+
The pouch - it's a nice inclusion, but kind of pointless. I stuff it with Amanda's next-day clothing and sling it over her arm. B
