Yay!!! I got a few goodies in the mail yesterday and today (I saved a few bucks by using the Molly code twice and separating my order ) I will start with the item the was the reason I made my order. To be honest I never really thought this outfit (the ready for run one) was very cute. I thought it was "OK" but the color combo just never seemed to strike me as appealing. Then right after it disappeared from the catalogs and I found this board I fell in love. My girls needed another pair of jeans so I was excited to see it come back to the website for now. I really am glad I got this outfit while I could, I love embroidery and the jeans from this set are a great example of that. I also like the little side slits at the bottom. I do wish they had back pockets but AG jeans haven't had back pockets (Go forbid Mattel would chip in the extra buck for its customers ) since the days of Pleasant. The shirt is cute and seems versatile but for some reason I had thought it was long sleeved...Oh well.. three quarter length is even more versatile. I never thought I would like the sweatshirt/jacket in this set but it was the first thing I saw when I opened the box and I fell in love I just love the feel of the fabric and it even seems like you can reverse it to just being plain blue (has anyone tried this out) The shoes and socks are probably some of the favorites that I have. The striped socks are adorable and I love the stretchy fabric while the shoes are just too cute and look like the ones I love from the Petals and Plaid set but they are different colors. I think the hair-band that comes with this is cute and a nice touch and of course the UNDERWEAR!!! Yay! for any of you that have Nicki you need to get this set it comes with both jeans and undies! Two things Nicki needs but surprisingly doesn't have. I hope to get Nicki soon and when I do she may be in this outfit more than her own.

Hey Puglove,
I loved this outfit! I think that it is something a Girl of Today would actually wear.I can not see anybody at a school wearing the I Like Your Style outfit or the Go Anywhere outfit. I think that this is the closest they have ever gotten to a perfect outfit. Good job, AG!
A+.

I like this set; it's so cute and there are lots of pieces to mix and match. The embroadery on the jeans is cute, as is the shirt and colors are bright. This one isn't the best quality because it was scanned onto the computer, but it's Susie's first picture I added a flower pin my mom made, to the shirt.

I agree with Keri. I fell in love with this outfit when Traveling Nora arrived with it (squished) in her luggage. We can always use an extra pair of jeans around here and the zip-up hoodie is so well made and cute. I also agree that of all the JLY meet outfits, this one, I believe, real girls would actually wear! I'm so glad I got this (on clearance now) for $18 on-line. Lots of pieces (including undies and socks!) included that you just can't go wrong with. A+

Jacket is reversible! The hood works! Full veiw without the Jacket! Close-up of the flower design on the shirt The design on the pants! Outfit includes underwear The shoes! The awesome socks! This is one of my favorite outfits. The shirt: It is a very nice, white shirt. I personally like the flower and as long as it's hidden or goes with the outfit it can be used for mix-and-match. It is something I would wear, and the girls I know (and knew then) would wear as well. The Jeans Jeans are classic, always in style. I like the design on them for the meet outfit, although it does restrict mix-and-match possibilities. I think the Black Logo Tee from 2004 also goes nicely with the jeans. The jacket I like the jacket - I love the red colors mixed with the gorgeous blue color. I think I had something like this when I was young, including the feel of the jacket. I personally prefer the outfit together with the jacket, and it is a nice piece to the set. The Socks These are adorable!! I was not expecting socks with my doll, and was delighted to find them. So cute. My best friend wears socks like that all the time, and did especially when she was in AG's target range. But I do not know if kids still do. The Shoes I love the shoes! I love that color of blue. I have not tried to pair them with any other outfit, so I am not sure how that would work, but they fit very nicely and go with this outfit.

I got this outfit off ebay and I have to say that it is by far my favorite meet outfit! The sneakers are some of my favorites of all the AG shoes and the jeans, tee, and hoodie are just *perfect* The only complaint I really have is the fact that it's hard to pair everything together without the sleeves bunching, but that's a problem you have with real people clothes so it doesn't change the grade

I got this outfit for my Chrissa while looking for something fun and versatile.
I'm really glad I got it!
All the pieces can be worn separately to make different styles.
The jacket is very pretty, the shirt is very feminine. The embroidery on the jeans is very nice, as well as the shoes.
Love it!
*will post pic soon*

I brought mine from a board member for Athena. When I saw the outfit today, I loved it right away. The shirt is modest but seems to pull attention to itself. The jeans, oooo I love the jeans! I used to have a pair very close to those but now I'm a size too big . The socks are cute and I love the shoes. The jacket is well made and I wish it was in my size. I'd give it an A++ Honestly, I think along with the second meet outfit, this is the closest to what girls still wear these days.

I got this outfit in 2006 with my Aurora. It was my favorite of all the meet outfits past and present. I have since lots both socks, one shoe, the undies, and shirt, however, when i had all the pieces I'd rate the outfit a B. Hoodie: Love it! The fabric is accurate, I love the zipper, EVERYTHING. Shirt: Yick! I don't like the 3/4 sleeves, the flower was too boring for me. Pants: Ok. I don't like how they lay on the doll. I like LJ Jeans pattern better, but I like the slit leg, and the embroidery, and the real pockets, but I wish there were pockets on the back. Undies: Adorable! They hung around for about a month, then vanished, but i liked them. A little pointless though.... since Idk why a doll would need them for....? but cute nevertheless Socks: WHY DID I LOSE THESE?!?!?!?!?! I want to find a pair on eBay.... I LOVED THEM!!!! Prettiests socks AG EVER made. Shoes: Really cute. However I never figured out how they were supposed to go on........ Now I just have one left

T-Shirt – A+A very standard, versatile, cute t-shirt. It’s made of a thick cotton with a pink AG flower decal. Opens in the back with Velcro for easy dressing. It’s a simple piece, but I love the realism of it (it feels and looks just like a real t-shirt) and the versatility with other outfits. Jacket – A+This is the star of the outfit for me. There’s a lot of detail in this small jacket to the point that it’s basically a doll-sized version of a person’s jacket. The outer layer is a sturdy reddish pink windbreaker material with lines of simple embroidery of pink, dark blue, and light blue. The durable zipper (which can actually zip shut with no problem) matches the colour of the jacket. The cuffs are light blue, which matches the nice, thick, soft lining. I doubt that the hood would cover most dolls’ hair, but it looks nice as part of the jacket. It slides easily onto the doll with plenty of room over her t-shirt. It’s not tight and fits her like a genuine jacket would. Just a very well-made piece. Jeans – A+' I’ll admit that I have a soft spot for these because they remind me of jeans that I wore in the early 2000s. They’re made of a durable denim and cut into a flare that was very popular during those years. The embroidered and beaded flower detailing on the sides is super cute. They’re easy to put on with a Velcro “fly” and button. I really like that they offer enough room in the rear for the pants to stay up when the doll sits down. Shoes – A+As seems to be the theme with this outfit, these shoes are doll-sized replicas of the real thing. The white and blue match the outfit nicely and the Velcro-closed zigzag laces make them easy to put on and take off. I have no idea what tennis shoes are typically made of, but these feel like they’re made of that same material. The rubber soles also help the doll stand properly since they grip the floor so well. Socks – A+These socks are so fun! They’re just the average AG sock, but the stripes match the outfit while giving them a fun accent. What especially pleases me about them, though, is that AG cut the jeans in such a way that you can see the socks through the jeans’ side-slit! This was something that I remember doing in the early 2000s, so it tickles me to see it in doll form. Look! You can see the socks through the jeans opening! I wonder if it would be weird if I tried to bring this trend back...:-P Good Value?I got this outfit in a lot from Craigslist, so I couldn’t tell you how much I paid for it (though it was definitely pretty cheap), however, the internet says that it retailed for $26 if purchased separately from a JLY doll, and I think it’s a fair price given everything that comes with it. I really miss when the modern meet outfits came with this many pieces. Overall – A+I added this to my collection as an adult collector, but it’s very reminiscent of what girls were wearing in the early to mid 2000s. I’m very impressed by the detail put into all of the pieces and how much each one resembles its girl-sized counterpart. Of all of the modern meet outfits, it’s definitely one of my favourites. (The bandana that Aziza is wearing is actually mine from the early 2000s – I don’t wear it anymore and thought it matched the colours of the outfit well – and the watch probably comes from this outfit’s accessory set, but I don’t have the full set and can’t be sure).
