I bought this outfit so that Inga would have a counterpart winter outfit.
I am very pleased with it to say the least.
I did not think I would like the cashmere style sweater so much, but I do. It does not seem suffocating. The rhinestones on the neck add a nice touch. And yes, it velcroes on the back.
The skirt is absolutely beautiful and has shiny sparkles in it.
I totally love the fact that it includes socks rather than tights. Very good quality.
The shoes are very cute, stay on well, and have the same shine as the skirt.
It even includes a sparkly pink hair ribbon.
Outfit looks very cute on Inga. Can work on a tween and up.
Overall an A+

This is one of my very favorite JLY outfits! It is so feminine and soft and sparkly. The sweater looks and feels like angora, but I'm uncertain of the actual fabric content. The rhinestones at collar and cuff are darling, as is the glittery look to the skirt and shoes. The skirt is a little prone to wrinkling and should be stored carefully. The only thing that boggles my mind is why they went for cheap and made knee socks instead of tights. The socks are long enough that you can't tell under the skirt, but it's a strange choice given the many other holiday/party outfits made by AG over the years, which either have tights or nothing at all. Everything fits well on both PM and Mattel dolls. I do not believe this outfit ever came with a matching hair ribbon. I am fond enough of this outfit to want to give it an A, but the weird socks bump it down to an A-. That is purely a personal preference, though. The outfit comes available fairly regularly on the secondary market but is hard to find with its snowflake necklace (which I don't have), and that might tend to bump its price above original retail.

Actually, I very much prefer knee socks instead of tights. I know that dolls do not need to go to the bathroom- but they are still easier to put on. I do not see it as a sign of cheapness. On the contrary, most of my dolls wear knee sock/thigh highs rather than tights if at all possible.

I cannot believe that I scored this outfit, complete, for $24.99! All the pieces feel so nice...it's a beautiful set. I would probably have been surprised by the socks if I hadn't been forewarned by the reviews, but only because they are sock-length but seem like tights-texture. The snowflake necklace is pretty cute: the snowflake has little rhinestones on it and hangs from a delicate 'ball' chain. The clasp is 'normal size' (thank goodness or my clumsy fingers would fumble dreadfully!). I was glad to see the 'baby' velcro used on both sweater and skirt. Love the way the skirt falls and the way the sweater sits at the waist. Nothing I can add to the photos already provided by Scandia and EofA, except pics of the necklace which I will do shortly, when there is good light to take 'em. Definitely A+ from me. *mod edit to remove dead image links*

This outfit was just stuffed in a box because my daughter hated it until I got my own dolls and decided it would be perfect for Lea. The sweater is so soft and fits well. The skirt does wrinkle easily. It matches the shoes perfectly. I like the fact that it has socks and not tights cause they're easier. The necklace looks cute and coordinates with the rinestones on the sweater. I'd give it an A. *mod edit to remove dead image link*

I love this outfit now that I've seen it. The sweater is soft and beautiful and looks identical to a silk and angora one I had as a teen. The satin skirt is shiny and sparkles. It makes a darling Valentine's outfit for a special dinner or dance.
