This set is so cute! I love the Jacket and the shirt and skirt looks like the things I wear! The only thing is the shoes or boots I love them but putting them on and taking them off it so hard the little tie strings when undone don't help. ($26) What it comes with Everything that it comes with Boots Close up of the Skirt Close up of the Shirt Back of the Jacket

I love the outfit just not the boots, has anyone tried this with any other shoes? Found any to recommend that work better?

It looks as though the recent "Strappy Flats" might match. They're periwinkle blue with flower embroidery - possibly the same colors as in this outfit. I know it's fairly similar to Nicki's meet outfit. This set is actually growing on me quite a bit. Does anyone have wide-angled photos of the back of the jacket, so I can see it as a whole? The close-ups aren't really helping me envision it. --- KERI

This outfit is one of my favorites! I love how elaborately decorated the skirt is, I think the shirt is very pretty, plus it's a GREAT mix 'n' match piece. I'm not crazy about the jacket with the outfit... Now the boots: I HATE THEM. The got stuck on my Nicki's feet when I was trying them on her. I never will and have never planned on using the boots with the outfit. I think that they are hideous and the don't look good with the outfit. I prefer using other shoes with it.

I used the sandles from the Flower Garden dress (pink and brown dress) . I do like the boots but they are way to hard to get on and off trying to take them off its like the dolls leg is going to come off too =S

I'm in love with this outfit. I think this is one of my favorite JLY outfits at the current time. The boots are cute, but they seem better suited with a raincoat on a rainy day. And they're also hard to get on and off. They'll fit on PM feet/legs, but are even harder to get off -- so I wouldn't recommend the boots for this set for a PM doll. I love the outfit itself. I think its a really cute look for spring. The jacket and shirt have mix-and-match potential, and the jacket makes a good wardrobe staple. I only wish that the design on the back wasn't there, so that the mix-and-match potential was further increased. Grade: A.

If you're looking for a dark denim jacket without any logos, try finding a secondhand Coconut's Best Friend outfit. It comes with a plain, dark denim jacket, khaki cargo crops, and a blue t-shirt with Coconut in the middle. If you're lucky, you'll also get denim slide sandals with floral embroidery, a pink scrunchy, and a bracelet-style watch.
I have a question about this for those who have it: do any of the new pink tank tops match the skirt? For example, the one from the skateboard set or the gardening set. Or even the polo from the tennis/golf 2-in-1?

Okay, I got the new skateboard outfit and took a photo of the top with this skirt. It's okay, but a bit of a stretch, especially with bright pink shoes! The bright colors overwhelm the muted tones in the skirt. Also, the white polo from the Tennis & Golf Set is too bright. You really need greys or pastels for this skirt. --- KERI ETA: I've more photos of this set in action. First up is the top with Mia's meet skirt, for an outfit option: Next is the skirt with two more tops. I think it's all right with Kit's sweater, but really, it needs something green or blue. An olive green or cream/ivory/offwhite/whatever would probably be best. Finally, I've some photos of the jacket. Contrary to what Sara said, the design on the back is a combination of embroidery and printing. I think the jacket fits quite well, and I didn't notice until I was taking it off Marelise, but the cuffs have velcro so that they fit over the hands better. Yay! :P

I really like this outfit, especially on my #23. I got it at AGP in June 2008. I think it looks especially cute with the Adventure Outfit headband. The shirt is very cute. I just love the jacket, but I'm a fan of jean jackets. The skirt is very cute - something I could see people actually wearing, though I am not sure if girls would or not. The boots are ugly IMO, and are hard to get on. I do not like them at all! Overall an A-, because of the boots.

I just got this outfit today, planning to save it for a Christmas gift, but my DD is sick so I gave it to her to cheer her up. Since she won't get Mia (her first 18" doll) until Christmas, we put the outfit on her Bitty Baby. It is super cute on Sophie Mae Louise, if a little old for a baby!, and everything fits well, except for the tank, which is a tiny bit tight around Bitty's shoulders, but it's hidden under the adorable jacket. I even like the boots and didn't have any trouble with them -- maybe they are a little easier to get on and off the Bitty Baby's feet? I will try to add pics soon so you can see how it fits the smaller dolls.

This is one of my favorite JLY outfits. I love the complete look, but the boots drive me crazy. Over time they develop a gray haze over the rubber. Has anyone managed to clean this off? If so, what did you use?
